Like a lot of people around the world, Chester saved me from my darkest of times and his passing still hurts to this day.
They are genius every album is different genre.

But it's still better than nothing... and I think it would be good for them too, they all seem to genuinely enjoy making music and performing live, and they said they want to continue. In fact, they might be writing new music right now, according to something Phoenix said last year.

@@MohdSajid-jf8pg1. they're not going to create another HT or Meteora... that was 20 years ago, when they were basically kids; they're different people now. When Chester was still alive they repeatedly explained it, and he said it the most, so why would they do it now that he's gone? 2. It's not up to you or me to determine whether they replace the name- but, frankly, replacing the name would be idiotic. If they change their name they'll get much fewer listens and attention (because most people who like the band don't follow then closely so wouldn't be aware of the name change), and with 5 out of 6 members remaining, they more than deserve to use the name. The band is more than just Chester. 3. You say 'RIP Linkin Park' (which is weird in and of itself since a band is not a person), but then you give the years Chester lived... I repeat again- THE BAND IS MORE THAN JUST ONE GUY. LP didn't begin when he was born, and didn't end when he died. Learn to separate him from the group, and respect the other members.
@@Ariel_thenotsolittlemermaid sorry but contiuing with linkin park name without chester they would be just milking the name of great band for money and which will dishonour chester's legacy or they might fade away like pink floyd which will see fall in audience in their live performances it was chester's potential and his rare talent which made linkin park among one of the greatest band of 21 century and it was him who suggested the name linkin park if they changed their name they will be able to explore other genre of music and could perform and continue as path of great musicians without any pressure. i believe for us fans remaining 5 guys are still great musicians and they have still some talent left to do touring,releasing live music and other stuff if it happened so i hope they would get someone who have similar sound or vocal textures like chester then we could see smothing similar like HT, MTM and meteora . as many bands who lose their frontman chose to quit as LP is no AIC and AC/DC as there was no cranberries without dolores o'riordan so there would be no LP without chester bennington so #RIPLINKINPARK(1996-2017) gone but never forgotten

And you can find LP's post on the day Chester died. There's something weird they said in their post. Go find it. When Chester died, I immediately thought something was off, I could just feel it in my gut. There was just something telling me that what really happened is not what they're telling us. And I later found out about the whole thing Chris and Chester were planning to do. The whole thing is just phony and I can't believe people fall for the "Chester killed himself on his friends' birthday because he was depressed and started drinking again". Give me a break.

God i wish i could’ve seen the entire crew in concert. I started getting into them heavily a few months before the unspeakable happened and that was a hard month. I hope Chester found peace in the end . Rest In Peace man. I hope the band can continue though but it’s their choice.
According to Phoenix, they've started writing together again. It will probably be a while before we get to hear new music from them/ see them perform together, but the band is continuing.
