Minecraft story mode may be coming back..
Minecraft story mode is a staple of our childhoods but recently, they have lost their license with Mojang and have gone bankrupt. This means they can no longer sell the game or make a season three.
But in August 2019 they have bought back their company, and this means they can buy back the license and make a season three. Now it's all up to telltale games to make a season 3 of Minecraft story mode.

That’s why I think Minecraft story mode season three is probably possible I would as much as I would love to see Minecraft story mode three don’t think it will be possible later in the next couple years maybe a little years later due to Ivor’s voice actor dying and I don’t know how they replace them because I’ve was a big part of the story and why would Telltale Games scrap the original group in order. For season three either Ivor has to die but I don’t know how that plan out they could go in a different direction with Ivor though

one of the lead writers said that before the game got canceled one of the biggest ideas for season 3 was to introduce a new protagonist who is a student at jesses hero camp - no idea what that is but thats all the information they gave up

whats your source of information? Because that wouldnt really make sense since in the end of season 2, you either choose to stay in beacontown with lukas and the others or go with petra and the option you chose would most likely build up the story in season 3
I always thought a sequel with radar as the protagonist would've been cool, since he was kinds learning how to be a hero in season two. Everyone else seems to hate him that I've seen but I really like radar

If telltale games sees how many people want a season 3 maybe they’ll consider it The Minecraft community is massive, and I believe in its power to give Minecraft story mode a sizable player base that would convince telltale games that it’s worth giving it another shot

Telltale has released an announcement saying Minecraft story mode wouldn’t be continued because Microsoft no longer wants Minecraft story mode anymore.

Cassie Rose aka The White Pumpkin was supposed to make a return And this was hinted in MCSM season 2 when you choose to stay in Beacontown at the end of the game Radar says that Jesse recieved a lot of letters on of them having a cryptic message saying "Look Out" and being signed with the initials WP(White Pumpkin)

If they do make a season 3, then they’ll either have to find Ivor a new voice actor like they did for Olivia or have him absent. I loved Ivor’s character so much; he grew into a lovable character throughout the two seasons. It’s a shame that the world lost Paul Reuben and his voice that brought the character every gamer has grown to love 😞

I would say that Ivor has been killed by an ambush while he was fighting a horde of piglins and blazes in the neather, just to obtain some resources for his Alchemy. Harper was with him at that moment, and when she saw Ivor's death, she ran all the way to beacon town just to inform Jesse about Ivor's death

I think most likely if there is a season 3 the main antagonist could be Cassie Rose since at the end of season 2 if you choose to stay in Beacontown Radar informs you that you’ve received i letter from the initials W.P saying “Look out.” These initials can be interpreted as “White pumpkin”. I personally think maybe an unknown person helps Cassie escape and ends up being the new villain in mcsm.

I used love Minecraft story mode, just waking up in the morning on a saturday morning excited to watch dantdm react to it, I love the feel it gave.
All I wanted is for Telltale to take the rights from Mojang and put Minecraft story mode season 1 and season 2 back in stores so I can buy the second season, because I really want to continue Jesse's story. I hope she can get the rights from Mojang and put the 2 seasons in stores again.

If we were to get a season 3, I think that it shouldn't follow Jesse as the player character. Jesse doesn't need to go on another adventure, the whole original gang's all found their places. So then we'd have to follow a new protagonist. I'm not totally opposed to that, but it'd be incredibly difficult to pull off. So what if we got a prequel instead? There's so many interesting groups and characters with hints of really interesting backstories that never get told. The OG Order, the Old Builders, the Admins, all have some intense pasts where something big happened, and we never really get to know what. What about Jack's original group? Why not have a game that has arcs that explore and explain what they were like before? There's so much unexplained that I would love to explore, but then we'd run the risk of contradicting the original. So maybe we just leave the main story with the gang where it's at. Perhaps some extra side content, like little short animations or stories. But leave Jesse's story where it's at. I honestly just want both seasons to be put back on sale, these games are honestly pretty good and they deserve to be seen. I think leaving the story as open-ended as it was was a great idea, and I think that means it would be better off just ending there. Season 2, episode 5. The end to an amazing game.

Maybe a spin-off About Aiden, and what happen to him, where we get to choose if he gets redeemed or stay as a villain with his friends Episode 1: The new world that was getting set up, gets attacked by creepers, giving Aiden the chance to escape, from prison or repaying back for the damage he caused The first big choice is, escape and leave them all for dead, or help them Both ways end with Aiden being allow to leave. Depending how good and bad, Aiden is will affect the game, and it's ending. For the good ending, you get to apologize to Jessie, and join him The bad ending you fight Jessie and his friends
Maybe just maybe have the old order’s adventures up until the ender dragon thing, it isn’t explored They could do the admins thing since it isn’t really explored. We don’t know how they even got their admin since romeo did state that he wasn’t always an admin. They could do it in xara’s perspective and show how Romeo became a villain. Maybe some old builders and reveal as to if soren, Isa, and cassie were old builders or not

No but i had a pretty interesting idea for season 3. This would lead us back to the portal hallway we used to use when trying to get out of there in season 1. What if something were to corrupt one of the portal realms there and that thing that caused the corruption would spread to other portal realms? And the infection causes catastrophes and other issues in those realms that would break the balance and lead the realms to be destroyed. If it were to reach our main characters realm, then it would mean destruction to them Jesse and his friends here are then set on a journey to locate the original portal where the infection had come from and cure it to possibly heal the other portals Now im not entirely sure if this is lore wise any good or makes sense in the playtime, but that had come up to my mind

Minecraft storymode is literally one of my fav childhood video games, even though I never got to play all of season 1 and 2, I remember getting the game on my 9th birthday and it was one of my happiest times of my life
At the every end of Minecraft Story Mode Season 2 Radar told of rhw return of Cassie AKA The White Pumpkin and Aiden. It could start from there. StacyPlays, DanTDM, and many others played it.
Watching youtubers play this was amazing.
If they do make a season 3 I'd like it to focus on another block that's not obtainable in normal minecraft for example, season 1's big thing was the command block, while season 2 had structure blocks so I think season 3 could focus on another one not explored yet, like barrier blocks

I feel like alongside Season 3. Telltale could remake Season 1 with some new content. Like, adapting Petra’s Escape (a Wattpad story) or at least, see what happened to Petra in between episodes 1 and 2, along with a Character Gallery that expands the more the player plays the game, Bloopers and more
I don't think it's time for the original seasons to be remade yet. Look at the new Harry Potter series, that's being made only about 10 years after the final movie. Maybe they could make some sort of special or like an extra story or something, but right now, it's not the time for a remake.

My idea for season 3 is: The Warden (the character from season 2, not the mob) turns out to still be alive and wants he wants to make Jessie pay for everything he did to him. He looks Jessie and his friends to like an underground place or a new world or something. Jessie sees that the Warden does everything because of his history so he/she tries to talk to him about that and just when he’s about to tell him/her why he decided to be bad the situation escalates and he becomes even angrier at Jessie. At the end of the season Jessie and the Warder both have command blocks that they use to fight (Forgot to mention that the Warden gathered to together all of Jessie’s enemies and Jessie gathered all of his friends and these two groups fight together in the lest episode)! (Also one of the new characters in this season is at first good but then it turns out that he’s on the Warden’s side but in the last episode he thinks about his life decisions while the other are battling and joins the battle on Jessie’s side!)

An Idea for Season 3 regarding the Warden, a sculk infestation outbreak that infects anything and any mob it comes across. If they manage to do something creative with the wither, no doubt they can with the warden or sculk as a whole.

@@realrosesaretrulyred and the only weakness to the wither storm is another command block related item, without the knowledge of such a block, the idea of containing the wither storm is crazy and unlikely, at least the sculk is only confined to the ground, the wither storm flies in the air for Fks sake.
An idea I had for season three is that it could be another KZheadr collab but this time with the HermitCraft server. I'm sure the hermits would be down to be in a Minecraft Story Mode season, and the Hermitcraft server already has millions of fans, meaning it would be a huge success. I don't know what the story would be, but with the recent start of Hermitcraft season 10, I think it would be a great time to team up with the hermits. Another idea is that it could be based on the Life Series. It wouldn't be as easy to come up with a story for it, but it could be interesting.
On the Topic of the infestation idea and the warden, I have two ideas that could make it more threatening than the Admin was. 1, The Sculk would act as a sort of passive speed and strength boost for the Warden. Meaning that the more the corruption spread, the more powerful and faster the Warden would become. So essentially if Jesse didnt stop the corruption from spreading all over the world, he would be in a losing Battle against the Warden, plain and simple. Two, the same thing would happen, which Sculk would be infesting the land more. But to take an idea from vanilla Minecraft, the more the sculk spreads, the more Wardens that can spawn. And I think the Sculk should be otherwordly. THATS where I think the mysterious structure thats always built in the middle of the Ancient City’s would come in. Since it’s been theorized that the random structure in the middle is actually a Portal, what if the Sculk came from another universe, and THATS when the Sculk would start to spread, from coming out of the portal, and slowing infecting the Underground caves before making its way up to the surface, infecting the land. And for a neat little new “ Mob “ of sorts, I think that if someone stands on the Sculk for too long, they would turn into a mob called “ The Sculking “ (Veerrrry Original, I know). It would work the same way as the Warden, except that it can only see Moving objects, and cant hear or smell anything.
I think theres lot's of theories about souls being used as a source of power, season 3 might come with a lot of deaths (including ivors maybe) and there could be a character (like the warden or maybe the creator of it) who harvests souls to become powerful. I just think things being powered by souls is a huge aspect of Minecraft, like soul sand, the witherstorm, or the warden and that can be used to create a new story that will 1: create a new, powerful, and immoral character or possible one like the witherstorm that just mindlessly feeds 2: create a devastating situation including fear of something worse than death (having your own soul taken and used as a means of destruction) 3: allow for story that includes more than just fighting, but also loss, existential fear, and a very interesting and ominous story that might not only introduce a terrifying aspect to the mcsm world, but maybe even build into the reality of the Minecraft world It might even uncover some mystery about the way the mc world (including the mcsm world) functions, and how power and "magic" all comes from souls, whether it belongs to someone or it's taken from them. MatPat has even done theories about souls in mc which definitely check it out because he talks about this a lot and it would be very interesting if added to the mcsm world
I miss the feeling Minecraft Storymode gave me back when I played it, It was in my late teens but I enjoyed it none the less, never got to get Season 2 before Telltale shutdown in 2018. My only hope is to get a physical copy of both seasons to replay them.

Before Season 3 happens, I want Seasons 1 & 2 remastered! I’d buy physical copies day one! 💯 Anyway, definitely S3 needs more than 5 episodes but less than 8. Also, make some anthology episodic episodes like the second half of S1 that don’t have a overarching story. But give them a bigger runtime to flesh out those one off adventures. I think the Sculk and Warden being a main antagonistic force would be cool because it could be like a hive mind that makes the protagonists not always sure they are ever safe with it spreading fast throughout the overworld. IDK what could be another good idea for an overarching threat but we can constantly think about hypotheticals as it’ll be a while before S3 gets potentially green lit! Regardless, whether it’s an overarching story or standalone episodic episodes we definitely need 6-7 episodes for a Season 3!
I would buy a remastered Season 1 in a heartbeat. And I would love it if they could fix all of the bugs that they couldn’t fix back then.

Season one had multiple antagonists for the first 4 episodes it was the wither storm. the 5th episode was Aiden and the ocelots. 6th was the white pumpkin. and 7th was the computer Pama. And 8th was the old builders. The second season I think they just wanted one as it's only the admin Romeo. Probably for season 3 a single antagonist idk. I really hope they do a season 3 as Minecraft story mode is nearly 10 years old!

Hopefully there is a season 3 but i wouldnt be surprised if they just put season 1 and 2 back to buy. But i also do think there will be some sort of minecraft story mode season 3 if its a reboot of the story or just a continuation of the season 2 story
Maybe they could focus on the end and the command block from season 1. They could introduce a new rival, the ocelot leader from season 1, or a new order who wants to transform the end into a new world ruled and sculpted by them for them. They either only partially transforming it or not at all but they do release the ender dragon again but in their panic trying to get rid of it, they end up making a lot of them who attack Jessie, the one(s) in control of the command block, and each other resulting in one dying and opening up the end portal resulting in a dragon invasion of the over world. If there was going to be a new big bad maybe a dragon could eat the command block and end up becoming a massive queen/empress dragon who controls/leads the other dragons. It would be a good way to bring the end back into the story since we only went there for 1 episode of season 1 and most of it was just in a building. Also I feel like they could definitely do something with the end cities and the end ships. Also, pet baby dragon? Or they could be basic and make a story about a united neather invading the over world

I would love a season 3 of MC storymode. I would watch it, and play it. Me, and my kids still watch the older ones all the time.
My idea for season 3: This is gonna be a little unoriginal but what if the main antagonist is a sculk infestation but this sculk actually comes from the Witherstorm itself. The idea is that the command block made the Witherstorm from a hivemind of blocks that work in union and when Jesse unleashed the endermen in season 1 they would bring the Witherstorm blocks into a random cave and those blocks formed their own hivemind with each other and made a self sufficient energy source without the command block. This new sculk infestation slowly spread into nearly every cave system in the overworld. Maybe this sculk is slowly spreading to gain enough power to steal back the command block and maybe thinking back to that W.P letter from the end of season 2 that Cassie returns and discovers the first instance of the sculk infestation breaking into the surface warning Jesse of the coming invasion and maybe becoming a central figure in season 3 as some kind of reformed villain or anti hero. This is in my opinion the best way to wrap up that W.P easter egg at the end of season 2 but also the best way to explain the sculk and its origins for season 3.

You know how Gabriel's armor is unique and is kinda like a mix of netherite and diamond? It reminds me of armor trimming. I think theres at least a small chance Mojang added armor trimming to minecraft as a nod to Minecraft Story Mode. Just a thought.
Minecraft Story Mode was the 1st ever Minecraft related game I ever played before I started playing the original game & it has a special place in my heart.❤ Jetra 4 Life! <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="340">5:40</a> Maybe in Season 3 Herobrine as the main Antagonist, where he controls the Warden and corrupts the overworld & it's revealed that he's actually Steve, Jesse's father but turned evil after his lover Alex (aka, Jesse's mother) died of something. And the only way he can defeat him is by Jesse obtaining the Admin powers (somehow) & banishes Herobrine from the world. P.S: We'd really like to Jesse & Petra kiss because they almost did in Season 2 but ended up being a good old softy hug. 🫂 But that's also better than just standing still & do nothing...

My idea for what a MCSM S3 will be is the command block will come back with the With Storm's energy, possessing Ivor and turning him into the Wither Storm

I believe that Ivor wouldn't be in it though due to the passing of Paul Reubin meaning either they will find a replacement for the voice actor, or that Ivor left, else they will just kill Ivor off.
Ivor didn't really appear much in the second season, so I guess a little bit of his character in the possible 3rd season would be possible.

You can call this idea dumb, but it just always stuck out to me. During season 2, you either leave Romeo behind or take him with you, so what if in the new season we get to see his very first creation? Not a world he made, his very first attempt at creating a life form. We'll call him "Glitch" to be simple, but imagine if Romeo couldn't get rid of him, cause he kept re appearing and eventually Romeo just set up an area that consistently deletes him. With his powers gone, the glitch could come back and actually confront Romeo about being abandoned and depending on if we saved him or not we could get insight to Romeo's earlier years as an admin. The glitch doesn't even have to be a villain per say, just confused as to why he was abandoned and in his attempt to see Romeo he ends up corrupting the world, and if Romeo is still alive it could have some character growth for him. Not the best idea I know, but I just like the basic idea.
I really hope there’s more to the game. At least one more season. This game felt good because it had actual purpose. Not that regular Minecraft didn’t. But with a story, characters you can remember (Besides people like Steve and Alex) and some new ways to think about the Minecraft world when it comes to classic things like building and crafting.

Honestly, that sculk idea sounded cool. Like, the warden wouldn't be that much of a threat to Jesse, I mean they've taken on the Admin. But the sculk could be interesting. It could be an infection of the world itself, one they've never seen before and have no way to treat. And every time the warden or the Deep Dark kills somebody, it spreads further. Maybe it'd be an excuse to go back to the Farlands, as maybe the sculk just can't infest a place that's already so chaotic, or maybe Ivor has a book there that has some clue about how to stop the sculk. Maybe it's be a reason to seek out Soren again, or the Old Builders (could honestly be the same thing because I think we all know Soren is an Old Builder). Maybe they could try to seek out any surviving Admins. Personally, I'd like for no one Jesse goes to actually has an answer, and Jesse and their friends will have to piece together what little information they can gather from these sources and put together a solution themselves. (Maybe you could have some more minor antagonists who sacrifice people to expand the sculk, but I would honestly personally prefer if the sculk is the only enemy they're facing.) The only real issue I see with writing MCSM Season 3 is what to do about Ivor. It wouldn't be the first time they replaced a voice actor, Olivia's voice actress was changed and it was very noticeable, but Olivia is a more minor character. And I don't know if I trust anyone to do as good a job as Paul Reubens. Ivor's voice was very distinctive. But having him be conveniently absent from the season is stupid and unsatisfying and having him die between seasons would just be sad and frustrating.

Minecraft story mode season 3 Steve and Alex came in to speak to Jesse and Petra telling them about hero Brian more power full then admin so Jesse and Petra try to fight herobrain but they failed and herbrain summons a wither storm to go attack beacon town that’s all I got so far
Idk why everyone pretends this game was bad, it had the heart and soul of an interactive masterpiece. Yeah, we really need to get back on this hype train before it ceases to exist!
i have a idea season 3 is the myth figueres where mythical entities like herobrine giant alex clone exe and more and it could include wardens and mega mobs and new structures with 8 chapters
Imo I don’t think the warden will be THE main antagonist but the deep dark and skulk would be an amazing antagonist for s3! just like the wither storm and Minecraft dungeons with the end they could do an amazing spin on the deep dark and skulk with it being an unholy evil and the warden being a gate keeper of sorts with the final boss and main antagonist being some kind of ancient Eldridge horror creature which created the skulk and rules the dimension of which it hails from which would be an awesome concept to make minecraft storymode s3 have an even darker premise and more horror feel.
If there is another Minecraft Storymode, I hope we get some more KZheadr cameos.
3 words The Orb Of Dominance. It could be that the command block was holding the orb at bay keeping in contained but when the block was shattered the orb was let lose setting the orbs evil free and wall it took it longer to regain its power now it’s reeking havoc in the overworld.
I played it when I was a kid and just recently played there other game the Wolf Amoug Us. Easily one of my top 10 favorite games. Im hoping w The Wolf Amoug Us 2 does well so they can get the license back

Even though season 1 and 2 are no longer available on PlayStation store I still have them I library, they helped me through high school with bendy and the ink machine, I don't care what that people don't like it, I still love it and play them games today because I still find them fun, and I love the world and story telling, the witherstorm is one of my favourite monsters and I hope it will be officially added one day to minecraft because the witherstorm mods aren't available on PlayStation If season 3 ever happens I'll buy it in a heart beat and enjoy it like the other 2
Here’s the thing though, if season 3 happens they have to either recast or write out Ivor because sadly his voice actor Paul Ruebens sadly passed away in 2023
I love these games so much that I’ve been looking on the Internet for a few months just to try to find the games and I finally ordered them and I’m gonna be in my room all day having fun remembering the good times and crying of happiness. PS: RIP Ivor
