  • Je trouve que il est différent des autres comédiens le fait qu'il échange entre le français et l'anglais , tout en faisant rire je trouve vraiment que c'est un des meilleurs comédiens modernes ou de cette génération du moins .

    • C'est ça le problème. Ça exclut tout plein de personnes qui ne parlent pas anglais, de la même façon que d'autres excluent les non-arabophones. Je l'aime bien quand même mais pour moi, c'est un triste aspect de la mondialisation.

    • I (Dutch woman) don't get the embarrassment. I had a boyfriend once, who always has a couple of pads and tampons at his house. In case someone got their period and needed something. If you buy something like that people know you are living with a menstruating person. How is that embarrassing?

  • Mdrr à 7:15 ils ont traduit la blague dans les sous-titres, il dit "Cool Kick" alors je te met un "Kick" mais en francais ils ont traduit ça en je vais t'en "Cooler une" et franchement ça marche aussi, bravo Monteux 😂

    • Ca depends de l'accent des interlocuteurs anglophones. Je suis immergé dans le monde des anglais depuis mon enfance et je peux comprendre tous les accents. Ca prends une vie entière de pratique par contre.

  • Son sketch fait réaliser qu’en France on n’est pas fort en anglais. Si, en France, un artiste débarque dans un festival francophone en parlant anglais il y aura peu de gens qui comprendront. C’est dommage parce que pas toutes les blagues peuvent être traduites.

Anyway, Paul loves his wife but for the standup, he magnifies everything to make people laugh. Only the story is real not the way he is telling it to us.

  • Juste pour info "Un pub" c'est "Un bar" en français. Pub en anglais c'est pas la même appellation. Et sinon pub ou publicité ça se dit ad ou advertising en anglais. Voilà c'est tout.
