Pally, if you haven’t done so already, I highly recommend setting your call in and console interaction keys to arrow keys instead of WASD. You never really need to aim while entering codes, but often need to move. By setting the arrow keys for that, you can move while you call things in. It’s also kinda immersive as your character lets go of their weapon to call in stuff while you let go of your mouse which is basically your weapon. Helps immersion as well as gameplay.
Even in Helldivers, Pally makes his build all about taking monster spawns. This is a man who knows what he's about.

Higher difficulty does not increase enemy HP just enemy spawn rate and enemy Spawn types. Grenade launcher does not deal high impact damage, but it can break Enemies armour very quickly... best way to aproach it is to aim at one spot and blast the armor, switch to primary weapon and shoot the wound.

I love how calm paly's perspective is compared to tricks at the beginning.

Pally if you love this game i highly recommend earth defence force 5 its pretty much the same thing but it doesnt rake itself seriously with swarms of thousands of giant bugs (ants and bees) and you can call in missile strikes and vehicles and helicopters. Would love to see a video of you trying it with tim and others :)

Hey Paly, love the content! Found you through HOtS and have actually picked up some other games because of your videos (rouge legacy 2 is a great chill and play). I have been loving Hell Divers 2 and would love to hear your thoughts on the new balance changes to weapons. It seems like it hits about 50% of your loadout. Pally you can pick up and drp the big rounds to move faster you will like stutter between walking normal and slow so you dont walk slowly while getting hit in the future

Hey Pally, a little trick with loading those artillery shells. If you constantly pick up and drop those shells, you can move a lot faster because your character drops the shell in front of you and can even kick it a little bit. This has the added benefit of also being able to switch to your weapon in between if you happen to be surrounded and you may not have as much covering fire as you'd like.
Is there a way/place to watch more helldivers 2 content of you Pally? I loved the episodes and I am in a MFPT drought right now, cause i can´t/won´t watch the Baldurs gate episodes. I am still spoiler free. :)

Random team play is fun but the true magic is with friends.
It's going to depend on you a little but there's enough tools in the game and the gameplay loop is simple enough to make playing with randoms pretty frictionless. I haven't really had a bad experience yet barring server instability. Ultimately if you like horde shooters enough to play them alone it's probably not a bad buy

Good game, but good luck trying to remove the anti cheat software that comes with it. Even if you uninstall helldivers, it stays on your machine :)
