  • Poirier also has a really bad habit of adjusting his shorts when he resets. So much so that that split second could be lights out. Watch the Hooker fight, you’ll see him consistently do this.

    • @@patrickmonaghan3658 No, but he's had time to shore up weaknesses in his game and learn tricks he didn't have. He's had what 1 fight in the last two years that lasted 30 seconds maybe? That doesn't give you a lot of stuff to study. It could be that it's the same conner that we've always had in which case good, but if you plan on something being a weakness for him only for him to have spent 2 years patching that aspect of his game up well you could be in some pretty deep shit.

    • with dustins square stance its a plus and minus at the same time facing someone who hits your jaw from left or right (when you circle away) so i think this is why hardy hasn't gone too deep into Dustins 'Ambidextrous ability' :-)

    • He's good :D man I went ballistic when he finished conor. My poor girlfriend who has no interest in mma was sitting to close to me while I lost my shit. I'm super happy for Dustin. I'm also happy with the new and improved father that is conor. I hope he comes back strong. I don't have much admiration for the trash talk, but I dig the respect between two parties going to war.

  • Arguably as good as McGregor? McGregor stuffed 60% of the takedowns and won a round, and did it while injured and after a two year layoff. I really like Poirier, but Nurmagomedov thoroughly dominated him.

  • This was fantastic to watch, love to see the more technical side of things from an experienced veteran in the game. I liked seeing how McGregor sets his left hand up with his hip positioning and I liked that you touched on his ground game which most people forget about. I’d like to see one for the Dan Hooker vs Mike Chandler fight as I don’t know much about Mike chandler!
