HyperX Cloud Flight S Mic Test and Review - Wirelessly Charging a Wireless Headset??
Review of the Hyper X Cloud Flight S with a mic test for a sample. We're in the future now! You can easily QI wirelessly charge this wireless gaming headset but at what cost? I've used these on my PC, PS4 and soon to be PS5 (when wal-mart decides to send me mine). But how will these stack up against the other premium headsets like the Logitech G Pro X or their "little brother" the Wireless Hyper X Cloud 2. The lack of 3.5mm jack makes them incompatible with the Xbox One, Series S and Series X.

Awesome to see such a high quality video/review from a smaller channel. I went to like the video and realized all the numbers were much lower than I expected including views and subs. I expected 6 digit subs tbh. This channel seems to be top tier though. You brought up things that no other place has brought up yet including websites and much larger channels. Awesome job. @@narutostormps3 I genuinely love it! It has been a quality of life (or gaming) upgrade for me. Easy top 3 purchase for the setup. I've been able to game for hours without pain or fatigue from wearing it, and the sound image overall is awesome. Not too harsh, bass is good and not overwhelming. And as well as it can be (considering the game) it has worked well for me in WZ giving me great auditory cues as to where the other players are coming from around me. Hope that helps!

Thanks for subbing and the feedback! I find the 7p's more comfortable and they're more affordable here in Canada. I do miss the convenience of wireless charging though. Also, yes I'm Filipino Canadian :)
Good , today I got these headphones and I do not know if the programmable buttons are working well. The lower one feels a bit hard and as if you don't feel a click when pressing it, the sides are less hard but it doesn't have a click sensation either and the upper one is the softest of all and has a click sensation to the touch. ? Olá! The Could 2s are on the top of my list for best wired gaming headset. Very simple but the build quality and sound quality are amazing and they're not overpriced. I'm hoping that translates to the wireless version that just came out!

It doesnt apply because u dont have the app on ps5 it just applyes on the pc if you have the app

I think your Astro A50s are 2nd gen and the battery life on them would be pretty weak now. I find these much more comfortable than the A50s since these cups are thick and made of a leatherette. These would be a big improvement for you especially if you have a QI wireless charger.
the V-Moda BoomPro sound quality is incredible! it's even beating ModMic in every aspect! If they just make ModMic can be plugged directly to the ditchable mic port of any headset that have ditchable mic! Cooler Master MH630 is the King of Headsets of 2020! I have HyperX Cloud Mix, I love it! but after suffering from the low mic audio for a long time I found it comes with a defect mic! so whom suffering from this issue it's a mic defect you should replace the mic under the warranty before it ends like what happened to me!
What is the point of a wireless headset if you are gonna connect a wired mouse to it
Is there talk-back/mic monitoring for these on the ps4/ps5? Like when you talk into the mic in parties, you can hear yourself?
Yes, there is a mic monitoring feature when connected to the PS5. The top button on the left cup is mapped to toggle mic monitoring on/off when connected to the PS5.

@@werty735 I’m leaning more towards the Arctis 7p’s for the PS5. They’re $50 more than the Pulse 3Ds but I find them more comfortable. I posted a video on them yesterday. Give it a watch if you have a few mins to spare.

What is the best? The logitech g935 or hyperx cloud flight S ???
I have the Logitech G933's and prefer the Cloud Flight S over them. My G933's are a bit older but I didn't like the fact that they were so creaky and battery life wasn't the greatest. If they fixed those 2 issues with the G935's then they would be worth a look.
My microphone isn't working on my headset, do you know why? I have to use my laptops speakers to talk
If you're using the HyperX Cloud Flight S then go to your start menu in Windows 10 and type in "Sound Settings" (without the quotes). Make sure your Input is set to "Microphone (HyperX Cloud Flight S Chat)". If you're using a different headset then you'll have to change the input to whatever headset you're using. You might also want to check the settings in your game/chat program like discord and ensure that input is set to your headset mic too.
Hey so I'm stuck on my overall decision razer nari for 80$ or spend the 40$ and buy this headset.

Razer Nari's are horrible. They have a constant echo in the mic that can't be fixed and when you go to a certain volume you can only hear out of one earcup. They're garbage.

Sorry I missed this one! I haven't owned a pair of the virtuoso's but a friend of mine did. He mentioned the mic was the best he's ever had on a wireless headset but the clamping force out of the box was too tight for him. For the Arctis 7 2019's if they're as similar to the Arctis 7p's as everyone says then they are on the top of my list for overall comfort. I'm normally a fan of HyperX as I've used the Cloud2 wired for a long time but I feel like these Cloud Flight S were a bit of a miss and the best part about them is the wireless charging feature. Hope that helps.

I wish I could comment on this but I haven't tried the Cloud 2 wireless just yet. I'm hoping to get a pair soon though. They sound very promising from what I've heard from other reviews so far.

Hey! It'll work through the PS5 menus but the left and right button's get remapped to volume up and down. Top maps to mic monitor and bottom maps to mic mute. I've been adjusting in-game and chat volume through the PS5 menu through a couple of clicks and it isn't too bad.
It's really dissapointing to hear the mic quality as you have to notice the price tag of this headphones (even despite being wireless, yes)

The surround sound is built in directly to the headset hardware. So yes, you will.
