My cousin really liked playing roblox (she was pretty young) and she was one of the kindest person i've ever met. Someday she told me that she watches these videos and i didn't really want to check what it was cuz it was looking normal at first but like a week later, she told me she wanted to stop playing online games because she thought everyone would bully her cuz of her age. I was just sad tbh

we're all laughing, but this is actually really sick and twisted. the fact that it's targeted towards young children is so gross. it's normalising grooming behaviour and is so damaging to kids who could possibly be in a dangerous situation online and don't tell anyone or think anything of it because of these videos teaching them it's completely normal and okay.

This is why parents should not give children phones at such young ages, or at least be careful of what they watch. Young children might come across these types of videos and think its normal, and might be like this when they are older which is not okay.

These are definitely twisted, but in a much creepier way than most people are saying. I don't think this has anything to do with trying to groom kids. I think it's content largely produced with the help of algorithms and designed to hit as many of those KZhead algorithm points possible. That means including popular topics. Hence the stolen ASMR videos and audio, because that's popular. Hence Roblox, because that's very popular (among kids). Hence the sexual content, because THAT'S popular (and disturbingly, what does this say about the popularity of incest and child abuse, that these are "buzzwords" that will get more hits? It's lifting these ideas from somewhere, it's mining the internet for content just like with the stolen slime videos, and THIS is what it's finding out there). The stories, o don't believe they're written by a person, I think they're 100% generated. It's like with those creepy KZhead kids videos, is there really any thinking behind them? I don't think so. This is what happens when you let computer algorithms design things for you based off what is statistically "popular" ans should do well as judged by another computer algorithm. And what's terrifying to me is that this is the future as we allow creative work to be handed over to algorithms that can't actually THINK. We all see how inappropriate and surreal and creepy and just not good it is. And yet it's good enough. It's sad.

In general there are a lot of "emo wannabes", aka e-girls and e-boys. Those people who think doing nothing more than dressing in black edgy clothes makes you emo, goth, metal, punk etc. And label themselves as such. Which is not the case, as these subcultures are based mostly on music and liberal political views (Except metal, which leans more conservative), rather than fashion. (Prepare yourself for a rant) And as a goth, metalhead, punk, and grunge this irks me a lot because it's continuing the same way as how grunge was mostly killed off in the 90s. People wanting to be "different" seeked it out, not having any prior knowledge to what grunge even was, and stereotyped the subculture into nothing more than a "alternative" fashion trend to the public eye. Something I like to call "normie appropriation". And something Hot Topic certainly isn't helping. As a person who was given a phone at a young age, the only time they should have a mobile device is when they are mature enough, so at the maximum you should give them a phone at 11 to 14. It’s sickening how much of this stuff is on KZhead. I think if the video has any type of tags like Roblox story time, it should have a age restriction or get reviewed. In general there are a lot of "emo wannabes", aka e-girls and e-boys. Those people who think doing nothing more than dressing in black edgy clothes makes you emo, goth, metal, punk etc. And label themselves as such. Which is not the case, as these subcultures are based mostly on music and liberal political views (Except metal, which leans more conservative), rather than fashion. (Prepare yourself for a rant) And as a goth, metalhead, punk, and grunge this irks me a lot because it's continuing the same way as how grunge was mostly killed off in the 90s. People wanting to be "different" seeked it out, not having any prior knowledge to what grunge even was, and stereotyped the subculture into nothing more than a "alternative" fashion trend to the public eye. Something I like to call "normie appropriation". And something Hot Topic certainly isn't helping. Then if you call anyone out for it, ex. rightfully call them a poser, or explain to them what these subcultures are supposed to be, like I did previously, you get wrongfully called a gatekeeper or an elitist, and then have to listen to some 12 year old gacha kid or teenage prom queen tell you that "these subcultures can be whatever they want them to be". For what? Knowing what I'm talking about?Anyone else from these subcultures can vouge for what I'm saying. These kinds of people tend to gatekeep themselves out of these subcultures because the bar for them is low but they still can't jump it. And that shouldn't be our problem. It's in the name. SubCULTURE. Not "fashion trend". Not "whatever you want it to be". You're either a part of them, or you're not. It's not gatekeeping or elitist to state so. As a person who was given a phone at a young age, the only time they should have a mobile device is when they are mature enough, so at the maximum you should give them a phone at 11 to 14.
