Lyrics:
If you want a boxer
I will step into the ring for you
And if you want a doctor
I'll examine every inch of you
If you want a driver, climb inside
Or if you want to take me for a ride
You know you can
I'm your man"

  • The funny thing about Cohen is, he actually knows what he's singing. He's not doing his old hits, without feeling, just spitting out the words. He's 80 and he's singing with all of his heart. Remarkable man.

  • How I miss you already Leonard. This is the reason women love Leonard. Guys! Wake up! If this guy can get women at the age of over seventy, then he has something going on that you don't. Watch and discover what "it" is. It isn't money and it isn't good looks. It's the poetry, the humour, the way he sings, and he doesn't take himself too seriously. That is sexy.

    • @@zalupa1000 it is not when we discover brilliance in life that makes US better people. It is what we choose to learn from it. I did choose to absorb the quality and learn from Mr. Cohen, while he was still living. I still enjoy his music although I don’t capitalize from it. He was much too brilliant to dare to insult God by trying to imitate, not to be mistaken for complimentary covers done by adoring fans. His old albums I collected in such a short window of time, they can’t be changed, rewritten or taken back without refund or apology by iTunes. He was an original so his music & memories with me shall remain original. Considering the rudimentary I’m replying to, was likely a temporary brat page but making an adult statement of a dying artful emotion Mr. Cohen and I shared, Loyalty. So regardless of an age difference, we clicked immediately, then I’ve always been and old soul so most of my friends were already dead when we met online, although never irl to make that clear for his family. We spoke deeply and I found him to be more aware than given credit for even today. Many of my poems and songs date back to the eighties or earlier, very passionate in my feelings of that time yet complete naive of my current knowledge. Doesn’t remove from their poetic passion or add to their lack of wisdom, yet current wisdom would have removed their spark and enthusiasm. Someone of my generation has arrived saying let’s spend some time together, you know, we don’t get to do that much so if it’s alright and you have time, let’s not waist another minute. Just friends I mean. Okay? Absotively! Happy weekend to all! 🎶
