David 'Beldon' is working in the library of a spoiled heiress who insists that he attends her Equinox Masquarade party. Having almost caught his quarry during the previous Hulk-out, McGee joins the party, wearing a disguise and carrying a tranquilizer gun. Meanwhile, one of the guests has had enough of the host bullying everyone around and plans his revenge.

A scientist who has recently lost his wife, Dr. David Banner, finds himself in the heart of a catastrophic experiment. As a result, anytime Banner becomes overly angry or stressed, he transforms into the Incredible Hulk, a gigantic green monster with superhuman power and wrath. To avoid being found, Banner leads a nomadic life, moving from town to town in quest of a cure and offering assistance where he can, all the while dodging the prying eyes of journalist Jack McGee, who seeks to expose Banner and the Hulk. "Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry." He is the Incredible Hulk.

  • In Season 1 Ep The Hulk Breaks Las Vegas when Bruce Banner calls Jack McGee from the hotel and McGee recognized the voice but in this Ep - Equinox from Season 3 McGee can't tell that's Banner's voice when he's in the closet

    • He didn't recognize his voice in the Mystery Man 2 parter from season 2, it's how he eventually found out that the Hulk wasn't just a monster.

David: The creature saved your life more than once, you know that. McGee: The creature is also responsible for taking lives. I was there at the laboratory fire. He killed David Banner and Elaina Marks! David: No! No, no, no. Elaina died in the fire. Not the creature. He tried to save her. McGee: You'll have every chance to prove that in a court of law. Take off the mask.

    • @@izzy3166He walked away before changing back. He also seems to have occasional flashes of memory from what the Hulk did. Maybe he had a flash of seeing Elaina laying their conscious and looking up at him.

    • David goes off from what info he can gather after he changes back, he knows that the Hulk doesn't seriously hurt anyone and does in fact save people. Sometimes The Hulk changes back in front of people he saves.

    • Possibly an autopsy performed on her determined she died from internal injuries sustained in the fire. David found out off screen before the funeral.

  • As a side matter, don't forget to select that gear wheel to up the resolution. Annoyingly, KZhead defaults to the lowest. Set to the max and the difference is night and day cinematic quality..

    • Unfortunately Jack Colvin suffered a stroke and quit acting between the first two Hulk TV movies, so there's no proper conclusion to the McGee character.

  • I cannot believe McGee can't figure out this is Banner. At this point McGee knows that the man behind the mask turns into the Hulk and that Banner was in his presence when the creature appeared to McGee for the first time. And McGee spoke to Banner in the pilot on several occasions, and would know Banner is the same size, hair color and has the same voice as the man behind the mask. He should be able to put 2 and 2 together.

  • Jack Colvin actually looked good in a tux at a young age. I believe this was the closest McGee got to Banner. But for real wouldn’t you think even with that tiny mask he would have know it was Dr. David Banner?!

    • Nope. The closest he ever got to Banner was during a forest fire where he and David actually traveled together. David had amnesia and his face was wrapped in bandages. Jack had no idea who he was with, David was pulling Jack through the forest on a self-made stretcher and he transformed into the Hulk right in front of Jack... Inches from Jack! What a *GREAT* episode that was lemme tell ya!

  • If Jack McGee had told that blonde-haired woman that the green man she saw earlier is wanted for murdering 2 people and that one of them was a woman, would she believe him? When David Changed back from the Hulk and managed to get some clothes again along with a mask that time, McGee to leave him alone. McGee couldn't because of all the damages the creature did since he went on the run for a murder he didn't commit, and needed to take the Hulk alive to answer for all the destruction before he gets himself killed or someone kills him.
