  • What's crazy is before the Tyson Holyfield 2 fight, media asked Teddy Atlas for his prediction and Teddy said Tyson is gonna get frustrated and get DQ'd. Just think about how many big fights end in DQ. It has to be less than 1%. It's a wild prediction that ended up happening.

    • Teddy could've easily followed a path into the psychiatric field. He has a keen understanding of human behavior and response. I'd imagine he developed and sharpened that skill because he found it interesting? People reach greatness in a field or subject when it doesn't feel like work and they enjoy doing it.

  • When Ratner left the NSAC, the gold standard of boxing commission was no longer there. Its embarrassing what happened to the once great sports commission. Shortly aftet he left, the commission actually was allowing fighters to legally dope, it was ridiculous.

  • I remember being 12/13 years old waiting to get the Pride Dvds in the mail I loved that shit. Im not saying im the best fighter but if i didn't get injured who knows what may have happened. I broke my right hand in a street fight and its never been the same, it took two corrective surgeries to get it back right. But now to this day it hurts to even hit a bag gloved up.
