@abhi reddy, I didn't like him to begin with, mainly because my dad used to listen to him (I didn't trust his taste in music), but 2 months after the beef, I gave Kelly a chance. I can say that I don't regret my choice to listen to him... this coming from someone who would listen to absolutely no one but Eminem a mere 2 or 3 years ago.
I dont think they hate his music. They hate when he makes music exploiting and faming drugs like he did in his last album. It had zero substance and was one of the worst albums of all time.

He's stuck. He usually either has generic/surface lyrics and a great beat or decent, explorative lyrics that don't really sink into complexity fully or dive into a rich theme. Unfortunately, the former already has many great players: Drake, Travis, Post Malone, Swae Lee, etc. The latter also has more skilled adversaries in the market: Kendrick, Cole, Denzel, Lupe, etc. That usually leaves him in a spot that's still niche but that contains other similar artists like Macklemore, Mac Miller, Lil Peep, etc. He's neither bad, nor amazing. He just is... there!

I don't know what the hell Binge was but this is personally the best I've ever heard MGK.
Binge was a rushed project because the Eminem beef was EVERYWHERE. I can only imagine how much the higher ups on MGKs team were pushing him to release a project to try and capitalize profits; however, he should have taken his time and released this LP and it would have much more attention than it does now.

If this don’t hit ya in a soft spot nothing will. So much emotion in this album. Been a fan of Kellz since “lead you on” but definitely gotta say this has to be one of his best albums yet.
I think it would pain people to say he compares to Eminem, because he does. He has mad flow and is even evolving his sound to an old nostalgic sound. Both are amazing artists but I think people have a certain disdain for MGK, he's one of those people that others love to hate.
