This song was my dads favorite song the past few months I never really focused on the lyrics. He passed away three days ago. I realize that he listened to this song all the time around me because I reminded him that he doesn’t have much time with me and this is practically his goodbye. he didn’t want me to cry when he was gone. He knew that he will be here with me after he was gone. there’s a disease in my family called telomerase disease and he had the rare kind wear it all his organs failed. I listen to this song now and I remember my dad. I cry but it’s a good cry. Edit: this is a few weeks later. Today was his funeral. I am glad I got to see so much family. Tomorrow we will have food. (11-14-21) It’s been a year guys…I’m doing better and I have found someone to help my mind, and tell stories of my father too. Thank you everyone for the comments and prayers. Finding that I’m not alone really does heal the heart. He’s still in my mind every day and I can some times feel like he is with me. I cry but it’s a good one. Phillip Gonzales Me and a friend of mine were the only 2 people in our friend group that loved MGK. It was back in 2016 that we realized no one we knew really fucked with him. I didn’t understand the hate surrounding him but I didn’t care because it wasn’t going to change the fact that I loved his music. People I’m friends with on Facebook have dragged MGK through the mud continuously but once this was put out, they changed their tune a bit. It’s not just about the Eminem stuff, I’m sure that’s a part of it, but I’ve seen MGK hate for years with no real reason backing it up. He’s underrated and deserves the praise he’s getting. I’m confident the new album will be his best yet and will really show people that he’s a talented dude and deserves all the success

My aunt just passed from cancer also. Then my best friend. Im in a dark place, the same one I've been in for years. But this song, this music, this movement helps even if its just for a minute at a time. I want to die often but i continue despite the hours, days, weeks, months and years i feel worthless and alone. I continue because im inspired by the artists i enjoy listening to and it makes me want to do the same thing and make music and motivate others to keep going. I dont know you, but i do know you are worth more than all the money in the world. You're worth more than you think and one day it will all make sense. Im telling myself at the same time im telling whomever is reading this. I love you and its so damn hard to get past these hard times but it is worth fighting for. I know i can be one of these 1 in a millions and i know i can make a difference as long as i can dig deep down and pull that shit out of me like eminem said. Fuck the Rivalry between em and mgk they both are very smart and talented i feel the music made by both of them. Its real and its helpful if you listen to the words. I dont have music out anywhere but if anyone at all wants to collaborate i am always down and i will respond to your messages. I've lost my mom and dad and grandpa and uncle all between Sept 2017-Sept 2021. All started with my uncle that was like a second dad to me he passed 30th of Sept then just 2 short months later I lost my dad to stage 4 lung cancer. At that time my family realized my mom was in the advanced stages of dementia with psychosis so I put my life on hold for the following 4 years until she passed Sept 23rd 2021. Took me a year to move on with my life but finding a full time job that kept me busy and forced me to be out in the public really helped me find myself again. We all have a journey just wish more shared what they were struggling with because it not only helps them, but someone else that can relate to them. If you feel like keeping in touch I'm on IG with the same screen name except it says main at the end cause I had to make a backup account when I got locked out while back. Glad to hear back from you though bud wish you nothing but the best!!
