  • I am so impressed with your skill and commitment to presenting this topic in the best possible way! Your video on the monsoon showed up in my feed as I was teaching it to my earth science students. I began it by talking about the death of Lata Mangeshkar, and I’m ending my climate unit talking about you.

  • This is awesome, thank you. I will use your website with my students! Can you at all somehow examine how Victoria BC compares in your PNW csb breakdown? Our school is on Vancouver Island. It is substantially drier then Vancouver and slightly warmer winters but your visual displays are fantastic to illustrate this.

    @dz1515@dz15153 жыл бұрын
    • Thanks, and great that you can use these videos to bring the subject to life. I apologise for missing Victoria, BC in my PNW climate episode. It is likely that your city is drier than Vancouver because it's in a rain shadow from the hills on the island, whereas Vancouver faces across the water, so the westerlies blowing over the water will have chance to pick up extra moisture. Also it's a little further south so on average over a long period will miss a number of storms that Vancouver will catch.
