Singapore is considered one of the most advanced regions in the world. What intrigues you the most about this fascinating city?
@Invictus maneo PaxAmericana i dont think so, modernization will definitely consider taking care of nature too.
@Invictus maneo PaxAmericana I think I read that they use 40% of land for green space. And what do you mean with the lost of individuality? East - Southease Asian culture is revolved around family. Duty to the family before individuality as far as I know. I think asians already found a balance between individuality and everything else.

@M C Singapore made a huge mistake by cleaning those young ladies from China off of the Geylang streets.

America is the richest country on the planet and it is a shame that we do not even attempt half of these policy’s and projects. They don't have to worry about the next election
Singapore was essentially a benevolent dictatorship under Lee Kuan Yew for decades after independence. This was a non-trivial contributor to sustainable long-term planning and development in the city-state. The contrast is stark compared to Hong Kong's plutocratic rule by wealthy developers and mandarins from London and now Beijing.

As a Singaporean, I would recommend Singapore as a great place to visit and if possible to stay for a few months, soak in the innovative vibe and take in as many ideas as you can. But like Japan, be forewarned the pace is intense. As days turn into months and months turn into years, it will wear you out. There is always someone better after your job, some other company trying to destroy yours. If you get a good business running, it is tempting to run it 7 days a week. The money can be good. Taxes are low. The time will come when you will yearn for less crowds and more wide open spaces and your own space, and this city living will become a pleasant curse. Pleasant because it is safe and clean and how long you want to tolerate it before it drives you crazy.

Singapore is not perfect by any measure, and so is every other city out there. Nevertheless, Singapore's achievements are remarkable relative to many other cities. I am proud to be Singaporean (in a humble way) and the amazing feats we have achieved thus far while we continue to push the boundaries of possibilities to surpass previous milestones. Kudos and heartfelt appreciation to the SG government, all Singaporeans as well as all the talented and hardworking foreigners living and working in Singapore, who have contributed extensively to this amazing city. Keep it up SG!
Singapore is extremely lucky to have Lee as its leader.
CANNOT AGREE MORE.. JUST READING THE BOOK AND THINKING THE SAME!!!

But... what about Laos, your neighboring country😅
I just wanna go there and learn. Its like they already have a solution to everything.
I been there on holiday was amazing highly recommend
Most of what Singapore does as a society/government is not innovated in Singapore, but LEARNT from other nations. They then bring it back to the country, debate on how best to use this in a way that works best in our society, and implement it. This is something that Singapore's leaders have said time and again. IMO the most important thing is not innovation, but implementation. Hope you get a chance to visit Singapore someday!
@Dude Trust Me I think we shouldn’t confuse innovation with invention. Most new technologies today were a result of innovation from past inventions. So I do think Singapore is constantly looking for ways to innovate. Let’s continue to learn from each other, innovate and progress. 💪🏻💪🏻
We don't really have a solution to everything. But we are learning, growing and constantly thinking about ways to keep up with the times and stay relevant. This is why we treasure our relations with countries all over the world. Without their help and faith in us, we will not have the capability to go this far.
One of the best nations out there where Asian values of continuous improvement, enterprise and discipline come together. Quality documentary NG!

Indian Living in Singapore from few years, When I came here I was shocked to know that there can be a CRIME FREE city, where women can walk alone in lonely area even at mid night. Police here is super quick to act and even spend time to solve very simple cases.
Wow. I also met my life changer Theresa May here in Singapore. I now own lots of super cars. I so much love this country
My favourite part of singapore is never seeing a police car because they dont need any
The crime rate is so Low that the policemen here mainly deal with lover’s quarrels that got too loud causing noise complains from neighbours
Wow, So wonderful city thanks for great video best greetings from South Korea 😍👍🙏
