In this video • Sculpting a Portrait J... I show you how to achieve portrait likeness. For example, I chose Jackie Chan, we will figure out where to start. What techniques do I personally use and for what. What details do you first need to pay attention to, how to mold a blank for further work.

  • The taking a break idea is very useful. I use polymer clay and I often bake it in-between working sessions. When I return about an hour later I sometimes notice something that I did wrong. I am going to try the break suggestion (although for a couple of hours instead of days) on my next sculpt. Thank you for a great tutorial!
