I am restoring a ww2 foot pump. The seller claims this pump has been in the ground for over 40 years.I am not sure if but this pump is made to last.It is built like tank.I hope you like the video.
#restoration
Hello, People must be mad to think your restoration vlogs fake! You show us each process step by gruelling step like today. Absolutely fantastic. 10 ++++
Well said Laura.I don't understand why they write fake either. I show all the steps one by one in the video. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
the restoration is real the whole aging process people do are what’s fake. they add some quick dry cement and some other stuff to make it look 100 years old when it’s 20 years. But the restoration is obviously real
My opinion of this if they think it’s fake then don’t watch and find another channel to be negative about!
Concordo mesmo. Acho estes vídeos muito legais.
You deserve a medal for perseverance- fantastic job!
Thank you very much. I am very glad to see you here again. I convey my respects.🖤🖤
Your persistence paid off. I must admit I was laughing so much during this video. Well done!
Lol.I'm so glad you had a good time watching the video.
Your job was astonishing.👍
Alan, thank you very much for your nice comment.
He does a great restoration. But unfortunately, I noticed a spackle like substance covered in dirt on most of his items. It’s just that, I’ve never seen white rust. And it’s definitely not calcium, it does not get that thick.
Mitchell, you are very careful. The covering is not rust.It is not dirt or cement neither.(I dont know what it is). When i bought these I was sure it was cement, but after putting it into Muriatic acid it did nothing. It is like rock .These are the stuff that sellers are discard.I buy them for pennies. Thanks for watching.
Your work always impress, great restoration.👏👏
I'm so glad you like it. Thank you.❤️❤️❤️❤️

Great job👍
I am glad you liked it .
The blue looks good but for some reason I thought you were going to use hammer paint
Funny thing is I was going to use hammerlite paint for the job.I could not find a close color to original one.
QUE PEÇA DIFÍCIL DE SAIR,MAS VALEU A RECUPERAÇÃO DA PEÇA
Obrigado pela vossa simpática mensagem.
good job
I'm so glad you like it.
would have been so much nicer if u would have bead blasted it would have cleaned it beter
Thank you for your advice. I just bought my sandblaster. You can see that I used it in my last videos. Thank you very much for watching and liking the video.💚💚💚
does sandblasting not work in this case? if don't, why? Thanks
It has a very durable paint on it.You can use sandblaster to remove it but blasting will damage the surface while removing the paint. Thanks for watching.
I have exactly the same one and still use it.
It is build like tank.It was very difficult to take it apart. Thanks for watching.
Wow wow
🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎
maravilhoso
I am so glad you liked it Patricia :)
perchè non l'hai fatta verde militare?
Di solito creo il mio colore originale.
that is a VINTAGE 1950s Air Pump Not a1945 WW2 Military antique foot pump
It can be .It is impossible to determine the exact date. The seller told me it was used at military vehicles. The quality of the paint and the production quality corresponds to this. Thanks for watching.
Круто
Я так рада, что вам нравится.
No se desarma así esta persona no sabe 😊
Gracias por ver el video.😉
why not use sand wash?
Danfu sand blasting harms thin metals. It is much easier but I dont prefer it for antique objects.
FIRST CLEANING SAND BLASTER
In general, it is not right to use a sand blaster in restoration. I agree that it looks good in the video.
Dude… I woulda checked that paint for lead. I’m just sayin.
you are so right.I dont show it in videos but i am wearing professional grade face masks all the time. Thanks for watching. ❤️❤️
I need tooth brush can I Barrow that one
LOL.It is not mine. Its my girlfriends.I will ask for you.
There is no way that has been buried for 40 years. It was covered with an artificial coating to resemble mud and would never survive that long in the ground. It still had paint on it for heaven’s sake.
When i bought it it was standing on the ground.I dont know if the seller tells the truth.(I dont think he will lie.I buy these for pennies..)The covering was not mud nor cement.(First I thought it was cement. So I used acid for it but as you can see from the video it did not work).Paint is military grade paint. There is green coating below it.Probably toxic. This is why I used paint remover.I did not want to sand directly.Metal is not normal iron.İt is an alloy.Much harder than iron. the pneumatic tool I use to break covering is a professional one.It did not even scratch it.).Thanks for watching.
A genuine restoration, not fraudulent 🙂
Оказывается насос, а я думаю ,что за агрегат 😂
😂
What the heck was that junk covering it?
I guess it's the dust accumulated over the years.
@@AntiqueVintageRestoratioNs - must have gotten wet at some point looked like it was as hard as concrete!
Too small subscriber for your job
I hope it will get better over time. I'm glad to have you.❤️
😂
:)
This was cringe worth on how much you beat the crap out of this pump with an air hammer
I would never have thought that I would use an air hammer in a restoration. The interesting thing was that I liked it very much. It has become my favorite tool after the air nail gun.
nghty
:) .Thanks for watching.
Very nice job on the restoration you do nice work. This might sound stupid for a question. Was there supposed to be a check valve that would allow the pressure to only go one way? Thank you for doing quality work.
@@davidmoody239 Hey David. There is a different mechanism.Hard to explain without showing. The rubber part moves back and forth. When you press it moves back and closes the middle hole. Thanks for watching.
