In this video I am restoring an antique electric stove.The stove is produced in 1938.
Before restoring it, I thought the heating element was broken.To my surprise it worked perfectly.

  • Manufactured by AEG in 1938? But... but there hasn't been time enough for these geological deposits 😀 Very nice job, and now you have a small stove for the kitchen or for when you are out camping or whatever.

  • Incredible. I love watching items of the past being slowly revealed, and we get to see how they were manufactured. I personally and would suggest a try of INOX instead of "Water Dispersal #40" or WD40. Designed to keep water collecting on missile and rocket nose cones. Inox, IMHO, has always out-performed WD40 for me.....unless you DO want to disperse water, of course. Then it's GREAT! xx

    • I am very happy that you watched and liked my video. AEG is an old company brand that produces high quality electronic materials. Sellers think that such products cannot be repaired and throw them on the side of the road. I buy them very cheaply when I come across them.💙💙

  • I so enjoyed this video; very satisfying to watch the process to the end result. You are no doubt clever and resourceful and have all sorts of great tools at your disposal. I particularly like the spreader tool that's like a mini "Jaws of Life!" The vibrating tool on the block of wood to dislodge the debris was very satisfying to watch, too! I couldn't help but notice how young your hands are...are you a teenager?

    • NO mud inside heating case.(The top is one piece.I was planning to replace the heating element but it is impossible.When the heating element dies I have to throw it in the trash.❤️❤️

  • When the thumbnail popped up, I thought it was a forgotten Hamburger! 🤤🤢 The amount of rust on it was hideous. Recovered from a demolished homesite perhaps? It's absolutely incredible that something that corroded can be restored much less be made to work again. Great job.

    • Christine it has nickel coating on it.It prevented rusting.(both sides and bottom are coated.If the coating on sides was not damaged there would be no rust.).Top is totally rusted.I could not even totally clean it.I had to paint.Thanks for watching.❤️❤️
