Hello everyone,
Take a look at this Candy Cigar Restoration project. It's a great example of how to restore and revive a vintage story with old tools and techniques.
As you can see, this project required a lot of restoration work. In this video, I'll show you how I repairedand fully refurbished this candy roller. After the restoration, I of course tested the finished product.
Thanks for watching!
If you're interested in restoration or want to learn more about how to restore old tools then this is the video for you!

  • @25:12 On the off chance this hasn’t been mentioned yet, there is stabilizing resin (sometimes called cactus juice) that doesn’t require you to sand a whole bunch of resin off. You put the wood in the resin, use the vacuum, and then remove the wood and bake it. Fantastic job once again!

Just watching you restore this simple machine brings back so many countless memories of my childhood going to the candy shop to get my usual flavor of bubble gum candy cigars and possibly try any new flavors that the shop might making. Watching this video had the young kid in me saying im going to the candy shop.

  • Nice job. They won't be fixing stuff made today in 70-100 years time as it only lasts ten years. Shows the workmanship of older items.

  • I just subscribed to your channel. Honestly, I think that is the best restoration video I have seen in my life. I like how shiny everything got, I liked the pacing of the cuts and I loved the beer testing. And I like the beard in your logo. My beard looks similar. Man I hope there's a good woman on your side because you deserve the best.
