Video manual for the Xtrfy M4 Wireless gaming mouse.
00:00 - CONNECT THE MOUSE
Connect the dongle and the cable to the adapter. Plug the cable into a USB port on your computer. Turn the mouse on by sliding the switch on the underside into CPI, RGB or PGDN mode. Your mouse is paired automatically as standard.
00:33 - PAIRING (IF NEEDED)
If your mouse is not automatically paired, here’s how to pair it manually:
1. Unplug the cable/dongle from your computer.
2. Set the switch into PGDN mode (to turn the mouse on).
3. Hold left click + right click + scroll wheel click until the mouse blinks yellow (it’s now in pairing mode).
4. Plug the cable/dongle back into the computer with the mouse close to the dongle (about 1 cm). The mouse will indicate that it's paired by going back to the regular RGB lighting.
01:04 - CHECK BATTERY STATUS
Press and hold both side buttons + left click for 3 seconds. The mouse will then blink, indicating how much battery there is left.
Red light = 0-25% battery.
Orange = 26-50%.
Yellow = 51-75%.
Green = 76-100%.
01:28 - CHARGING
When there is less than 25% left of the battery, the mouse blinks red. Charge it by disconnecting the adapter and dongle from the cable, and plug the cable into the mouse. The mouse blinks orange when charging, and goes back to your selected RGB lighting when fully charged.
01:58 - POLLING RATE
Press the PR button to switch between 125, 500 and 1000 Hz.
02:08 - CPI
Set the switch into CPI mode. Then press the top button repeatedly to adjust your mouse sensitivity.
02:32 - RGB EFFECTS
Set the switch into RGB mode. Then press the top button repeatedly for different LED modes.
02:52 - COLORS
With the switch in RGB mode, choose your own color by pressing the top button + right click.
03:11 - EFFECT SPEED
With the switch in RGB mode, adjust the speed of the LED effects by pressing the top button + left click.
03:26 - BRIGHTNESS
With the switch in RGB mode, press the top button + side button 1 or 2 to increase/decrease the brightness.
03:50 - RGB ON/OFF
Press and hold the top button + scroll click for 3 seconds to turn the LED lighting on or off.
04:07 - USE TOP BUTTON AS PGDN (FOR IN-GAME BINDS)
Set the switch into PGDN mode. The top button is now PGDN, so you can bind it in-game.
04:22 - LIFT-OFF DISTANCE
Press and hold both side buttons + left click + right click for 3 seconds to switch between 1 and 2 mm LOD.
04:43 - DEBOUNCE
Press and hold both side buttons + scroll click for 5 seconds to switch between 2, 4, 8 and 12 ms debounce time.
05:28 - FACTORY RESET
Press and hold both side buttons + right click for 5 seconds to reset all settings.
05:42 - WEIGHT BALANCE
Loosen the two screws (around 1 mm) and then use the screwdriver to push them toward the back or the front. You are now moving the battery to change the weight balance of the mouse. When done, tighten the screws.
06:08 - ADJUST THE SHAPE
Unscrew the three screws to remove the rear part of the shell. Switch to your preferred back shell and screw the mouse back together.

Thanks for the video!
Just got my Wireless M4 and this video was a nice step by step for setting it up. Thank you for the video and great product!
Thank you for practical demonstration and with detailed explanation in the description! I wish this kind of description was in the manual as well! Possibility to adjust the shape is very awesome, thanks!
Thank you for not forcing us to download bloated software to adjust simple settings. One of the best designed mice to drop, period.
Thank you
The fact you dont have software, ITS SO GOOD! Best mouse ever.
im si glad i bought this mouse because now i get better results while gaming not the only thing limiting me is my brain and my keyboard
Question is there a prefered buttom to have the mice on while playing, cpi, rgb or pgdn or does it not matter?
Thank you so much !
Do you need to use the xtrfy charger? When I use my other type c cable to charge it the lights don’t go orange

My RGB does not work on my mouse, whatever I try. Does anyone have any suggestions?
what about m42 wireless ?
How to turn off leds while charging
can I use it on a Mac? :(
Not sure whether it is mentioned in the video but I lost my receiver and I was wondering if I could just buy another receiver and pair the mouse to it. Instead of having an unusable mouse
i have the same problem you find the solution ???????
I would also like to know if you found a solution. Thanks.
I just wish these guys would make like a hotswap keyboard
How do I get 500 cpi/dpi???
can yall push a update through that stops the flashing while charging, its so bright and i just keep getting flashed from me side of my eye
Came here to see if there is a way to do this.
I messaged their support regarding this problem and they sent me a specific firmware update. After I installed it, the bottom small light flashes instead, so I'm satisfied. Wish they made it publicly available, but for now you should probably do the same.
What fors pgdn mean
Anyone else had issues with the middle mouse button and PR button recently? Waiting for support to get back to me.
Please add functionality to reprogram the middle button (behind the wheel). Otherwise it's an amazing product. Thanks!
Wait you can't rebind the dpi button?
@@thespeedtapper4 Not AFAIK. They say you can in some games, but for me I use this mostly in windows for the ALT+TAB purposes. They say this could be done as a firmware update but I have been waiting for it for a year now so I am losing hope. Probably won't buy a new Xtrfy Mouse because of this detail.
@@Nokenify Damn. I was really considering getting this as a G703 replacement until you mentioned that. Hopefully they do add that programmability in the future.
@@thespeedtapper4 I had the G603 before this one. I like the fit, weight and build quality of the Xtrfy M4 somewhat more but atleast you could bind all the keys of the Logitech mouse. But I guess it has some pro's and con's that it isn't software-driven.
@@Nokenify Yeah if they allow programmability in the future I'll definitely pick it up. Provided Logitech don't make a G703 superlight before then, which I'm pretty confident won't happen anytime soon.
What is pgnd
I bought a mouse If there's one thing that's disappointing, There's 12 ms of debounce time I use 16ms Additional settings I'm leaving a comment to see if you can make it Please
I'm just looking forward to when I can buy the white MZ1.
Wait for wireless one😈
