Camp-Inn has been building teardrop trailers for over two decades, which means they know a thing or two about keeping them on the road longer. Designed to last 40-50 years on the road in extreme weather and rough road conditions, these trailers are not your typical teardrop campers. Join us as we explore the secrets behind their exceptional durability and craftsmanship. Plus witness the innovative features and designs that set Camp-Inn apart. From smart storage solutions to eco-friendly materials, these trailers are a true testament to modern engineering and sustainability. Whether you're a seasoned camper or a first-time adventurer, the Camp-Inn Factory Tour will leave you with a newfound understanding of what it takes to protect a teardrop trailer from leaks, vibrations, and the natural process of expansion and contraction at the trailer joints.

When the RV industry on a racing to see who can make the biggest pile of poop along comes a company that has passion, dignity and self respect. WOW! Bravo fine gentlemen. If you made one the size of my 19” Bambi, my wife and I would be running to knocking at your door.

  • I just pulled my 550 teardrop for 200 miles and am sitting inside with the door open watching a lovely river float by, watching your video and looking around mine. I've pulled it for 12 years. The term land yacht is true. It's so beautiful inside. The varnished wood has patina to a lovely golden glow. Craig and Cary have both been involved in keeping my teardrop up to date and graciously handled any repairs needed. This/these trailers can be bought with extras that could bring it up to a $30, 40. Or 50,000 range. Just depends on the extras you want. This teardrop has traveled America, been up and down some great and narley roads. Been maulled by bears and their lesser cousin the raccoon. All sorts of bugs and other critters. Lots of weather!: wind, hail, lightening, thunder, snow, and just plain lovely like right this minute as I type. There were about two choices of teardrop trailers in 2010. I've enjoyed watching Drew's reviews on all the choices now as the one he has in build for his family. I'd probably still choose a campinn. As always...thanks Drew.

It is one thing for me or a manufacturer to talk about a trailer. But hearing from someone who has had theres for 12 years speaks volumes. Thank you so much for sharing this Jenn. You have me excited to get out there. I haven't been in my teardrop for 2 days and I already have itchy feet.

    • Thanks Drew. Today was a 280 mile easy pull day. Sitting again in the td with the door open, in Eastern Montana looking out at a beauty of a forest. And here is a short raccoons in the rain, forest in Texas story: the raccoons are climbing up the hitch and front bump out, looking down at me through the fantastic fan, then sliding off the galley hatch. Just like the the High Camp trailer I was surprised this was coming in at the middle to upper lower level of teardrop pricing. Great seeing you on here. I feel so bad. And comparably speaking I thought they had the best price for what you are getting. Just my take. Thanks for taking your time in producing these wonderful videos. Have a beautiful day!! • Glad you enjoyed this. And you made a really great remark here. I think everyone should start their search at a company like this. It really helps you have the right eyes when visiting other manufacturers. When I first got into this I thought I knew what I was looking for. But boy was I wrong. Once I saw it done right, inferior trailer building practices were much easier to spot.

  • Cleaver design, old school craftsmanship combined with state of the art assembly methods ! However, I wouldn't take one of these on anything other then a recently graded dirt road without a fully articulating hitch/coupler - bent frames are expensive! I saw Two jeep JK's (wranglers) who had their frames bent pulling trailers with 2"balls on moderate 4x4 trail😪

    @onefastcyclist@onefastcyclist8 ай бұрын
    • With an overbuilt frame I feel confident on a lot of terrain with just a 2" ball hitch. Not an enjoyable ride, but I get by. But, with a standard or underbuilt frame, I could see your reservations.

      @PlayingwithSticks@PlayingwithSticks8 ай бұрын
    • @@PlayingwithSticks I've seen Jeep frames bent pulling utility trailers with a 2" ball - when the coupler binds, something got to give. Though all couplers are not equal this is the difference: tab-rv.vanillacommunity.com/discussion/9352/lock-roll-hitch-coupler If you still don't believe, follow me on the trails where I pull my T@B. One dip in the trail can require more articulation then a ball will provide

  • Drew, Maya's comment on the cult-like loyalty to CampInn is spot on. Here is one comment from the "Unofficial CampInn" forum website: "Thanks Van and Terri for the update. Drew does such a nice job on these industry reviews, always good natured and fair without "pitching" his favorite in comparison too much, unlike too many other youtubers who are apparently shilling a product for compensation, which is not inherently "bad", just not useful for me. Drew really does his homework, and lives the life. That insight is rare and highly useful. Obtw, Reading all the comments I found this link to a cool documentary Drew provided, too, that I believe Craig stars in... Teardrop Trailers Documentary - Overland Teardrop Trailer Imho: CampInns are a paean to the creative art of the original teardrops, with current gen Maker's best of tech and craftsmanship. Rolling works of practical art. And like a small wooden boat, they can transport you to new and wondrous places...with soul."
