Alex Salmond 'prepared to assist' Humza Yousaf in no confidence vote
Humza Yousaf will refuse to enter an electoral pact with Alex Salmond's party that could have seen the SNP step aside in some Scottish seats, Sky News understands.
The Alba Party, headed by Mr Salmond, is likely to have the deciding vote in a key vote of no confidence in the SNP first minister at Holyrood this week.
Mr Salmond told Sky News' Trevor Phillips his party would be "prepared to assist" Mr Yousaf in a no-confidence vote "as long as independence is restored as the key priority of the Scottish government".

Disappointed to see Salmond backing Yousaf. SNP were better when he was in charge, he did fight well for Scotland under a dominating Westminster. Scotland lost its chance for independence when Brown undermined the will of the people putting doubts in supporters of independence minds, then the Queen got involved by making doubtful remarks. SNP then wanted to be part of the EU….. wtf why? Look at the mess in Europe now with the great reset moving half the world into Europe and here. The lot need to go, the people need to fight against this mass immigration. There is no one fighting for the white indigenous people. We are invaded by the immigrants from Africa and the East. No one to vote for here in Scotland.

Alex Salmond (not an MSP) cannot give advice to Ash Regan on how to do things as this would be interferring in her role as a democratically elected official voted in by the Scottish electorate. If he does it could be seen as trying to corrupt an elected member of the Scottish parliament and face a criminal charge and Ash Regan should consider this possibility. It is a pity Ash Regan defected to Alba as she would now be on course to becoming the Scottish First Minister. Ash Regan as First Minister would certainly mean independence as she does not mess around and gets straight to the point unlike ALL other MSPs.

This was on the cards as soon as Ash Regan's unique position was made clear. We've seen the Green tail wagging the SNP dog, now Alba will have an extraordinary veto on SNP policy if Salmond does a rescue deal with Useless.
