Should be good fight Trout can box
@robertcuratolo5339 he went from Beating Miguel Cotto and having goof fights against Canelo and Charlo to bkb? Never knew he was fighting in bkb
Diego vs Canelo next
Wow like the ref at 6:59 ruined this whole fight him/camera man and producer of this like even at end you guys didn’t have no angle of the best punch of the whole fight ????? Really no replay of it that’s very sad . Need to make sure ref is never in between both cameras and fighters or maybe not have a 7ft tall ref as wide as a pick up truck as well smh 🤦♂️ no way that shot the best shot of whole fight didn’t get on camera somewhere and wasn’t shown in video no replay of it nothing amazingly 💩 🗑️

Have loved watching and rooting for Diego since he stepped on the scene with the ultimate fighter . You will never find a guy with as much heart , period ! That all being said, I hope it's the fire not the money he is chasing. I hope he is doing well enough to afford a comfortable retirement when he is all done. Wish him the very best and hope his health holds out . Thank you for all the great fights and memories, you are a true modern day gladiator brother. God bless
For reals... Unmatched heart!
He’s washed up and was never that good to begin with.
Heart? Nah. He told the ref he couldn't continue once he realized he would get the "win" because of the knee from Pereira. He was getting doninated the whole fight, saw a way out and took it. And that was in Albuquerque, his hometown, hah! That's not heart.
@@JThomasSC72 Can't argue with that instance particularly lol
Before I even watch this I’m gonna say.. Diego should NOT be fighting anymore.
Diego has been throwing that 1-2-1-3 straight blast combo and getting absolutely LIT up since 2009. Holy hell.
Lol
That’s true but damn is that fucker tough 😂
Diego has 8 legit wins in the UFC since 2009 so i dont know what are you talking about. Diego nearly defeats Gilbert Melendez with that and guts alone. Wouldve loved to see you perform in his place im sure you wouldve done so much better

him vs gil melendez was way better, the guida fight is most known for that one flurry
Diago that guy that reminds u of fights outside a liquor store at 2 in the morning
Ferocity and volume are totally different than accuracy you can walk out there in the flap around like a drug addict in the middle of the ring but you're not going to get paid if you just can't hit nobody
One of the few former pro boxers that I've seen on bkfb. It's a good test for the sport of boxing.
I wonder how much money they make om bkfb
Pro boxers will clean house in bare knuckle, if they choose to fight there. I don't think the money is enough to persuade them to make the switch. Diego didn't look like a nightmare, just throwing hands, fact his face looked more like a fruit salad. It's time to go, even his punches looked like an old man's. But in all fairness, Trout was an excellent Pro boxer...
Former? He just dusted someone a couple months ago
@@wallyspicks That right? That's wassup. I hadn't really followed his career.
Please bkfc, sign more pro boxers of this caliber to the organization 🥊
Ask them to pay more. No pro boxer is coming here for a few 10ks lol
@@2147B Trout's not only a "boxer", he was middle weight champion of the world. I don't think bkfc paid him 10k. Plus, hes only 38 years old.
@@TitoMariategui Boxing (and their fans) tends to discard those who loses a few fights. So someone older and has a few loses would be a candidate to crossover. A young boxer probably has his eyes set on a belt in boxing before bare knuckle.

Man I remember I took a picture with Austin Trout in 2013 at a boxing 🥊 event here in TX and got a signed autograph from him. Really cool dude. I'm glad to see he's still staying active even outside the boxing ring.
Outside a boxing ring? My man lol this is a boxing match minus the gloves
Old school or not, you must give it to Diego. Absolutely insane he’s still doing this but this shows the level of commitment fighters have to their craft
Or they can't make a living doing anything else 🤷🏽♂️
Sad to see Diego like this. Never thought much of his stand up but it was his ground game that i liked during his early days. Really liked his fight with Nick.
Good point. Diego's MMA boxing is designed to allow the takedown, and you can see it with his over-use of the looping hooks that can lead to a takedown attempt in MMA. But instinct kicks in when you're tired and hurt and I think he did well to ignore the takedown; especially while getting hit with that jab.
He will always be one tough mf tho
Watch his fight with Gilbert Melendez
Wasn’t trout a world champion boxer ?
the amount of CTE my dude has accumulated is just heartbreaking
8:06 great sportsmanship from Trout. He knew the ref needed to check that cut.
Maybe not very entertaining but if the opponent is defeated no sense in continuing
Yeah but Dan has seen Diego get demolished like this for decades now. So he kinda just goes on auto-pilot.
@@gmcmullins3251the entire event is senseless violence. What you or ably want to say is he doesn’t need to beat a dead horse.
Could be sportsmanship, could also just be him knowing the doctor/corner could stop the fight once they really got a good look at it. Sure the guy was winning, but Diego is a no quit kind of fighter and he's a veteran. Anybody with half a brain is going to take the W and call it a night if they can instead of risking getting clipped or gassing out.
Should've took him out lmao
Glad to see Trout still fighting, always been a fan.
That was tough to watch. Sanchez was a warrior an absolute legend in his day. I remember when he organised a fight with his mate that had special needs. A real UFC fight with Bruce buffer introducing. Diego got beaten by his mate with an armbar. Brings tears to my eyes remembering it. Streaming down my cheeks watching it at the time
This was a tough one to watch and a mismatch of epic proportions , looking forward to Austin next fight though
Its tonight against Palomino
Sanchez is a legend but he's been checked out for years at least his brain boxers finally get a w in bkfc
Diego is the kinda guy that would be happy dieing fighting thats how much this vato loves fighting
Dude, he motioned to the ref like 4 times about the cut then gave puppy dog eyes to the doc for 30 sec straight, he literally begged both men to stop the fight for him. Not saying it to trash Diego been watching him since his combat debut, saying it's sad he's still taking permanent damage when he's already been in this state for half a decade.
Hes gonna get his wish fighting like that

@wilmergomez, speak for yourself.
a responsible commission’s even moreso promoters job would be to not allow this to happen but you know how that goes
To be fair to Diego, he took a fist fight against a professional boxer and former world champion in Austin Trout, and Diego's foundation in combat sports is grappling.
Honor to that man Having Diego looked at.
Trout put on one of the most clinical, precise, smart performances I've seen in BKFC. And brilliant defense as well, which you don't always see here. Great clinic.

Trout had to point out why the fight should be stopped. Great sportsmanship
If you compare this Diego to the one when he fought Clay, you can really see how much he's slowed down from his prime. It's unfortunate when the will and heart is there but the body can't keep up anymore.

When bkfc first came out, it was ridiculed and everyone expected it to go defunct after a few shows. What they’ve done/are doing is amazing. This is a great sport. I believe they have a great product that will continue to grow bigger for years to come. The owner is a savage too.

Diego Sanchez is a living legend. Win lose or draw he's a winner. Just to be in the cage, ring with that monster is a privilege for any mixed martial artist. His indefatigable fearlessness is second to none. Even the Diaz brothers respect him. I don't know if he's in the UFC Hall of Fame but he certainly belongs there. Where boxers will always have advantages over MMA or BK guys: 1.) Lateral movement 2.) Stamina 3.) Striking speed, power, and accuracy 4.) Recovery from a strike 5.) Ability to make someone miss and counter Because those are all things a boxer trains in religiously. Even though Trout was only an "okay" boxer and is now well past his prime, he will do just fine against other guys trying to punch with him. A lot of people think boxers only throw punches, or that big padded gloves are somehow "easier" to take a punch from than bare knuckles. Simply isn't true. While bare knuckles are more likely to result in cuts, a gloved fist is more likely to ring someone's bell and KO them with how the power is dispersed.
Referring to his later MMA career, I struggle to figure out what happened to Diego's grappling game. The man used to grapple like crazy and it was his insane pace that broke them time and time again but as his career went on he just became a brawler with barely a ground game.
Man! without any gloves or protection Bare knuckle combat is very dangerous, i respect all the fighters in this promotion.
It can be argued that regular boxing is more dangerous because the body is more likely to give out in bare knuckle but with regular boxing you have gloves on and are able to take a lot more strikes to the head/body causing more and potentially longer lasting damage.
More visual injuries,I.e cuts and bruises, yes! But more dangerous,no! Being beaten to the head with gloves over a potential 12 rounds does more brain damage then bare knuckle.
i agree bare knuckle you will bleed badly on the surface first rather than that deep brain and inner body pounding build up with gloves@@spudvader
Deaths happen more often in boxing
@@dmenlee not entirely true! You can't compare the amount of deaths in boxing compared to bare knuckle because proffesional televised bare knuckle fighting is very new, where as recorded deaths in professional boxing have been recorded back from the 1700's,so obviously there's going to be more deaths "so far" in boxing.
