  • I find it hilarious that people think USADA actually managed to "clean up the sport", they were marginally effective at best. Fighters never stopped doing steroids.

  • I just don’t care anymore. I don’t care if people use steroids, at all. A third of the middle aged men at my gym are on steroids, and I don’t care either. I plan to be working out in my 70’s, while they will be dead or having their third heart procedure. Its fine. We all make choices in life. I’m tired of all the drama in sports. The chemists will always be a step ahead of the testers.

  • Chail sunnen wants famously said You can band steroids or you can open up a steroid league and let's play ball. And I tend to fall in line with that line of thinking If both athletes are aware that they can take steroids and it's all out in the open Then I'm perfectly fine with athletes roiding up. It only ever becomes a problem in one athlete can juice and the other cannot, which is what we had when usada was around. Usada didn't keep people from doing steroids, It kept the athletes The UFC didn't like from doing steroids.

  • The lack of transparency with Usada towards the end of their time was definitely an issue, but it only has gotten worse. I will say tho that it seemed like USADA outsourced to other firms for international fighters, so I’m not sure if this means anything for them

  • In the end i believe, i already enjoy fights based on fight iq and not physical advantage. There are still weight classes so for me that makes the biggest difference in a fight, wether someone is on roids (of course if he hit you he might hit you harder but if the other fighter is just smarter (david goliath type of) the fight will be won by the smartest and a biiiit of luck ofc one can get hit unlucky but at ufc level you prep long time for a fight against a specific person

  • I don't think the ufc parting ways with usada had anything to do with conor, I just think the contract was up, and they went with another company by the time he fights he would have been in the pool for over 6 months and his been the most tested athlete since the take over of testing
