I hope you will share my videos with your friends!
What I love about this channel - no grating backing music, no rants about subscribing, just content and precision!
You make PRECISION an "ART FORM" ... I enjoy watching over and over!!!
(in reply to your hope of: "I hope you will share with your friends"...) My reply is: OF COURSE YES !!! Dear JSK koubou: You are a recurrent example in my discussions on a group of woodworkers that we have in Mexico... From this exact video, I told them several subjects: 1) That our electric hand tools are way underused or "wasted" if we don't accompany them with Precise jigs, guides and supports that can transform those tools into precision instruments, thanks to your superb examples. 2) That they don't have to limit themselves to using only wood, but that they have to learn about using some metals like steel, aluminium, etc by using profiles, plates and bars. In some of your setups, metals make the difference! 3) That tackling design, they will, some day, progress beyond simple projects, an be able to make our own bench tools from much less expensive electric hand tools. 4) That getting deep into making many jigs and accesories is one of the best ways to acquire dexterity and precision without worrying too much about finishes and looks, before attempting to go into fine cabinetry or demanding woodworking, that is; to become precise and clever thanks to making a lot of jigs before any cabinet! In a word, you are one of several true geniuses that I follow, most probably the number one of all them! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Thank you for watching my video. I value not only making tools accurately, but also making jigs and tools that are as safe as possible. There is a video on youtube that shows how to make a very dangerous tool, and it has been watched by many people. One of the reasons why I made a tool video is because I want to introduce tools that can be processed as safely as possible so that as many people as possible can work safely.
JSK-That my FRIEND IS WHY YOU HAVE SO MANY FOLLOWERS! You inspire us to recreate how we work by creating safer ways and jigs. Thank you for that! Are you in Japan?
A 30min woodwork related video without any narration or music background but just the natural sound of the wood and the tools is just so satisfying to watch! Kudos to those very neat tools and workstation!
I know I can't stand obnoxious music added to DIY videos. If it was being filmed at a job site with a crew and the radio was faintly playing the classic rock station in the background it would add a bit of authentication. (Shutting off the radio to make your video would get you busted, HA)
This the best 31 minutes of my week so far. Professionalism personified ⭐️👍
Most of KZheadrs would make dozens of videos out of this and you shared all of it with us in one video. Thank you for such a great work sample and videos! As always, I watch them more than once!
The first track saw guide is genius! Such a clever and yet simple idea!
That panel saw is inspired and I'm totally building one when I have the space. The only thing I might do differently is mount everything using the T-track instead of screwing directly into the plywood to make it easily disassemblable/assemblable for fine-tuning and modification.
Panel saw eu já fiz, ficou sensacional. Parabéns.
I was always wondering if you were ever going to show how to make the panel saw. You finally did ! Thank you so much for all the amazing work and inspiration in becoming better at woodworking and especially more precise and patient. 🙏🏻
He already made it in two other different versions...
I love the counter weight for the panel saw.😀
The tracksaw idea is the most simplest and best i have seen. Thankyou.
I have a love/hate relationship with this channel. Love, because I love everything he does here. Hate, because plywood is so expensive here, especially the thick one he uses, that in most cases it would be cheaper to buy ready-made stuff.
BE CREATIVE! LOOK: most of his projects can be done substituting the expensive plywood with much less expensive MDF or HMR. in that case you will have to coat the MDF or HMR with a sealer or enamel paint to avoid humidity effects, but it can be done without espending too much.
Wolf Guard Miestwin Plywood is also expensive these days. But your statement has flaws. It's cheaper to buy things from scratch than to buy off-the-shelf tools and materials to make something. In other words, it's cheaper not to make anything. Now, I have a question for you. What made you want to buy off-the-shelf tools?
That is because in America they don't want you to DIY nothing is a society base on high consumers and low pay workers. The industry in America is base on buy and sale what is call services .See if you DIY you try to become independent and system don't want that.If you look at people DIY anything on another country they use tools and materials we don't have here in the states or if is any similar is way to expensive you never wonder why?

This guy always amazes me with his precision and innovation. Please make more of these for hand tools.
Oh, man. I learn each time something new from you. I was waiting more about your panel saw too. Please teach me something more...
Sim!
He makes it look like 'first time every time' but I'll bet he has a scrap heap like the rest of us. Awesome stuff and very inspiring. Thank you.
Perhaps "she" is the more correct pronoun? Anyway, always amazed by the clean efficiency of your work JSK-koubou!
@@pauldorman of course one of you progressive dorks has slithered their way into the woodworking community. So brave so stunning much wow. Bravo ma’am.
@@jprz3837 If by "progressive dorks" you mean "people who are observant", well thank you! It's really nice to be appreciated! Of course, if that's not what you meant, and what you were really doing was disrespecting this channel by venting your own terrified little boy feelings of inadequacy and projecting your own self-loathing onto others, well maybe the Internet isn't really a healthy place for you. I'm ashamed to admit my initial reaction to your comment was to laugh out loud, and imagine the pathetic and lonely little keyboard "warrior" you surely are. That was wrong, and I am sorry. I should not be laughing at the embarrassing rantings of someone who has clearly reached rock-bottom. You have undoubtedly had a very tragic and pitiable life, so I beg of you to not give up hope! I know the world is a dark and scary place for you, but believe me, there is help for you if you can just get up the courage to ask for it! It's time to put down that controller, turn off the Playstation, and come out of that basement. I know the first steps into adulthood can be scary, but I know you can do it if you try! I really do.
@@pauldorman ??? This is a man.
@@ChristIsLord229 (and all) after watching some of the Japanese videos by JSK-koubou I see that I am indeed mistaken. Apologies to JSK-koubou for my error! Confirmation bias on my part (as a hairy Caucasian!).
Amazing, Koubou! Awesome skills you have. After I saw your video, I feel like I am a carpenter from archaic epoch. I need to modernize!
Your work is amazing. Japanese craftsmanship is admired the world over. Thanks so much for the videos, from Ireland 🇮🇪
I cut wood strips using a cirkular saw but are seldom satisfyed with the finish. Have you any sugestions for improving the precision? I'm thinking about a roller system that press the plank towards a slider.
The tools seem hardly used, everything so new and still shiny👌🏽
Should have added the build date to each piece then we could all sit in awe at how long we've been watching this master! Great memories 👋
You are The Jig-Master for sure. And your videos are always a joy to watch. (And afterwards a LOT of fun to build the jigs myself haha)
Thanks for watching the video. I am happy to be of help to you.
Japan style process , neat, clean, precision and quite …..the shine of the circular saw is amaze me
The "Easy and Accurate Track Saw" works like a charm. Thanks Bro.
Wow, I even feel like using the same glue... amazing creations.
JSK-Koubos! One of THE best carpenter. Very persuasive, accurate - all videos are pleasure!
Muchas gracias por compartir sus maravillosos proyectos. Es un placer verlo realizarlos Saludos
Your ideas are amazing, unique and very inspiring. I want to imitate your works, I hope I can do it. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful works.
Hello, amazing video. Do you also sell the items you make to fit the tools in? Like the saw platform?
Dude these are some of the very best jigs I've ever seen made.. U are a special craftsman when it comes to making in the woodwork and metalwork fields.. Can I ask the exact name of the Makita Circular Saw u use in ur videos?? It's beautifully made so it has to be a very expensive model. I love the look of it and also that it's cordless. Is there a special blade for cutting wood and Aluminium together so I don't have to keep changing through blades or is that what u normally do yourself? I would be very grateful if u could give me a heads up on the Saw make and any of the best blade makes u use there on ur videos? Thanks for inspiring so many like me bro. Ur brilliant .. Take care
Your ingenuity is astounding and inspiring to say the least. As an engineer I can appreciate it beyond words. I have purchased your plans in the past. You must have posted this before but can you point us to the vendor you get all the aluminum extrusions and associated connection hardware from. Do they ship to the USA?
Look at the number of comments on my video. i can't see them all. Commenting inquiries about the plan makes us unhappy with each other. The parts list is described in the web manual. How to access the web manual is described in the PDF. If you have any further questions, please use the contact form.
Thank you for this amazing video - I have just purchased a new circular saw ( but battery failed - I think it needs a stronger battery so sent off for one). I have just made the first guide in the video, Can I ask.... what you put on the metal before you drilled it? was that oil? what kind of oil did you use? why does this help? only asking because I am clueless!!! many thanks in advance for any info you or anyone else can provide about drilling metal.
Great video, thanks! Would you mind providing details of the double-sided tapes you use in the construction of these jigs? (Brand, where to buy, etc)
i use this amzn.to/3S6DgfQ
Your videos have helped me to be able to utilize a small workshop with more power tools, thank you
I love this channel; most of the time I have no clue what's happening until the last few steps. Then, I get the "Ohhh... damn that's clever." realization, and that encourages me to carefully plan my own projects instead of stumbling through each stage to get an intended result.
Great collection. What model ratcheting driver was that towards the end? Looks like it can get a good amount of leverage.
Great video the only thing missing is links on where to buy all of those tracks and sizes on tracks and the bit used and size for the router.
Amazing skills and fantastic video presentation! Thank you for sharing your handiwork.
I don't know which videos I like better: the ones where you start by showing the end product, or the ones where we wonder "what on earth is he trying to do?" until it finally becomes clear at the end.
The beauty of having the right tools. ❤
I'm sure you've already been asked a thousand times but how often do you replace the foam you cut on? I appreciate you. Thank you for sharing your skills knowledge and experience
In my case, the form can be used for about a year.
You can get the blue dense foam at most any big box store. It should be categorized by or near building and construction materials (near drywall / insulation)
Did you ever make a video on the router circular jig? I love the attachment to your router. The one at 12:41
Incredible! I've got so many ideas from this, though I'm pretty sure I'll end up with a lot of scraps! 😂😂 That counterweight on the drill press looks really cool, too! (And using a bottle of Jack as a counterweight made me smile!)
I love it all! By the way, what is that tape you used for the sliders in "Aluminum cross cut jig"?
Where did you purchase the saw and dust attachment, also how effective is this in managing the dust?
Excellent video, well done. greeting from Milan Italy.
Grandioso Trabajo!!! GRACIAS!!!
Your ingenuity is endless. Thank you for sharing your ideas.
The night gonna be late watching your video, but I was fascinated by your ideas of construction and realization. Great!
Great video as usual (and with updates to some of your splendid creations too), I am interested at the moment in your 'Track Saw With Handle' design (because I am in the process of buying myself a Circular Saw) but I can't see a Circular Saw (that I can afford) that has a second parallel fence on the rear of the saw base, which I feel is necessary for that Saw Guide design, would you have any suggestion on how to add an extra one to a regular saw? I think that the creation of the actual fence I should be able to make, but to add the rear channel or any other method of holding it to the saw base is more complex, if not impossible unless I replace the saw base itself with a new one that I would build that incorporates it. Then again I have noticed that your cordless Makita saw looks large and heavy and would definitely need the two parallel fences, but a regular 185 mm (bladed) corded saw weighing around 4 Kg would suffice with just one fence I guess.
Hello i had same problem till i could afford 36v vertion of JSK makita saw .... Have you hear of Evolution Power tools? Evolution S210CCS 210mm Heavy Duty Metal Cutting Circular Saw £179.99 .... or Evolution EVOSAW230 - 230mm Circular Saw with TCT Mild Steel Cutting Blade £262.99 they do factory recondition and you may be able to pick one up secondhand for good money ... Peace
Charles: I would not worry about not having a rear "slot" for that double paralell guide... as most of the affordable saws have enough space at the rear of their sole plates where you can easily add a pair of small aluminum squares to form a slot where the rear strip can go... imagine two 3/4" aluminum squares made from 1/8" strip, place them separated by the width of the metal srip you will use, and cover them with another rectangular piece of aluminum strip. Use two bolts and nuts to hold them in place and run the strip under the rectangular piece and GUIDED by the two squares. It is not difficult as it appears to be. NOW, what you SHOULD WORRY ABOUT, is getting a circular saw that has a very RIGID and strong baseplate AND Cutting Depth adjustment mechanism!!! That is the difficult part! See: I bought a Makita 5008 MG 8 1/4" Corded Circular Saw... that LOOKED beautiful, but its mechanism is VERY FLIMSY, and FLEXES TOO MUCH when I press down the saw against the plywood I am trying to cut... so much that the 8 1/4" blade goes OUT OF SQUARE, AND FAILS TO CUT AT A PRECISE 90° TO THE SURFACE!!! (So, I wasted my money, and will have to either heavily modify and rigidize the mechanism, or sell it cheaply, and it is a "Makita", albeit, Made in China! So, choose the most rigid and solidly built circular saw you can, and check if its baseplate and mechanism is rigid enough!!! Best luck!
Excelente. Muchas gracias.
I was literally telling a friend this morning who's a wood worker about how amazing these DIY accessories are and up popped this video!
@ JSK-koubou The tool you are using at 28:21 is it a suction/ magnetic drill press of some type that you have made, if so have you a video of it being made? Cheers, great channel, subscribed.
Love it and the skill. Great job . Is there a list of material use
Of all videos on youtube, watching these, there is no time. The seduction to participate in excellence is timeless.
Extraordinary workmanship! I only have a few 'subs' with notifications, but JSK is definitely there.
You are amazing. Where do get the aluminium sections that bolt together (and the hardware). Thank you.
No words for this guy, his really amazing
One word for a start. Amazing.
Remarkable precision; clear illustration of technique; and no music. Do you own a table saw?
Sir you do awesome work can you add in some links on where you get all your material
Your work is always so precise and beautiful. 👍
This should be a whole course in woodwork.Thank you and God bless you for sharing your knowledge
Excellent jigs as always. We shared this video on our homemade tools forum this week 😎
Thank you. I would be happy if many people could see it.
Great skills and fantastic builds...
Really nice and useful additions to my circular saw
That vertical min-panel saw is a space-saving and efficiency game changer!!
Good video, where do you get all the aluminum bars, angles and honeycomb forms ?
Did you make your denim apron yourself too? For some reason, I can imagine you measuring the perfect dimensions to sew your own custom fit clothes too.
Am always fascinated by your creativity and skill. Quick question: What model Makita circular saw are you using? Can't seem to find one in the US that has a front and rear guide rail.
Xsh03z in the US is a 6.5” saw that will have dual ports
Thank you@@chad630
The tools he makes are better than tools we find in stores. They are more versatile and higher quality.
NO DOUBT ABOUT THAT!!!
Great precision, so accurate. Thank you
Good editing and filtering help immensely in making everything you show so easy , also makes you look brilliant Lol !
this video is changing everything - amazing !😃

Brilliant! Thank you. You are gifted 🤠
Thank you for putting out your knowledge for everyone to see. 👏👏👏👏👏👏💞💞💞💞
This man is...... I have no words. 😊❤️🎶
The absolute best selection of jegs I've ever seen on one video.
ingenuity, precision, top editing! One of the best on KZhead
Super workmanship and super appearance. thanks a lot.
Regards to you ... as always so many good ideas and excellent video edition !!! Thanks for all your share What is the grey glue you use ?
I would also like to know what is the gray glue he uses.
Excelente trabajo....mis felicitaciones
Hi @JSK-koubou, I was wondering where you get the double sided tape? The one I get from Daiso is too thin and leaves a sticky greasy residue when I try to remove it. Also, for the track saw with handle, what are the aluminum tracks you used?
Tape is Nichiban Nicetack Removable
