    • Yeah. People who are the nicest don't label themselves as such and have to tell the entire world. If you have to say it, chances are it's a cover to excuse actions and behaviours. An empathetic person will prove they are empathetic, they don't need to tell anyone because they show it with proof. Empaths tend to think lesser of themselves, anyway, not higher, and definitely not "look at me look at me I'm such a nice person you'd better be agreeing with me".

You can’t just go off of definitions or texts within books or lectures or research papers (that’s not part of what being an empath is either). You actually have to put things into practice. The way someone walks can reveal things about them. It was fun and interesting to watch too, btw. A LOT of people with the ASPD diagnosis have trauma. I'm a high functioning psychopath and don't qualify as having APSD. I'm a natural stoic. My mild traumas are not traumatic enough to explain my low emotional affect. Sociopaths are repressing, and there's often training or trauma or both behind why they repress. The field of psychology is still wrestling with how all these elements intersect. There's strong evidence that psychopath brains are physically different. But environment and personal choice has a lot to do with how that difference manifests.

However, she's gone through way more trauma than I have, so sorting out whether she's really just a psychopath with trauma or more of a sociopath gets complicated. I’m not really that talkative, definitely introverted than most of the ppl in the video but I always find people, strangers even, opening up to me. I listen attentively to others and feel very deeply. I wish someone talked about how draining it can be. Sometimes after hearing someone’s story I feel it so deeply, I carry that all with me.

  • Is anyone else playing the game from the start when they go around and say "I am an empath"? I always narrow down between 2 people just by their tone and facial gestures. Cassy was one of them. Also while they continued the game, it was a dead giveaway that she's never been in a relationship before. Empaths fall HARD. Sociopathy is a highly intriguing disorder too if people get a chance to actually learn from their experiences. My friend is a clinical sociopath and he is loyal and a man of integrity. A loving human and he doesn't hide the fact that he has the disorder. It made him extremely self aware.
