The way Hannah was looking at Matt when he was trying to convince her that a V12 swap is safe carcks me up
"and you want to make it FASTER ???"

Like, Matt, who are you trying to kid,,, yourself or me.

I’m an older car enthusiast and enjoy watching your videos. I do want to say however you are very fortunate to have a father who joins you on these builds, wonderful memories that you will have with you forever. My late father developed my car bug; unfortunately my work took me away from family for decades. So when I finally retired and moved closer I had only 3 months with him before he became ill and passed away. I had hoped to enjoy mountain cruising with him in my 911 but we never had the chance. Enjoy those moments with your dad, and again good work with your videos.
Touching story ❤
Sorry for your loss, we often don't appreciate/realise what we have until it's gone, I love the sentiment within your comment, what Matt has with his dad is priceless and timeless.
Sorry for your loss man. I'm so fortunate to have a dad which loves to work on my car with me (even though he always gives me a hard time 😅)
Sorry for ur loss
That is not his dad. He looks 57, Mat is 53
I absolutely love Tony.,. Such a wonderful dad to have… well done Mat, love from Nigeria.
Immense project to take on. How do you do it ...hats off to you. Thanks for sharing Matt. Good luck
Hey Mat! After three years of being a silent observer, I just had to break my silence to express how amazed I am by your dedication to repairing cars that have been in crashes. It's truly inspiring to see how you tackle such challenging projects without giving up. You're not just fixing cars; you're setting an example of resilience and determination. You're a true role model, reminding me of the importance of perseverance. Sending greetings from Germany! Keep up the fantastic work! ❤

I 100 % agree with the ideology that having kids isn't supposed to be a financial gain, and is ultimately a financial loss, but is 100% a labor of love so totally worth it.
But cars aren’t that unique. I get why he’s doing it but I definitely wouldn’t
Tony : Definitely not. (After receiving a Ferrari)… from said child! 😂 These guys are just brilliant though! 😁👌 Although. I bet that Ferrari is also gonna costa fortune to keep running perfect! 😅
If your talking about upgrading it you should definetly put a crazy widebodykit on the gallardo because alle the bodypanels have to be replaced either way and it might even be cheaper
Was not excited for this build but can’t stop watching now I’ve started 👏🏼 nice work MA and team

You have to admire Mat’s grit fixing this car. Being around this car after he crashed it isn’t as easy as people might think. Excited to see this done and back on the road!
Good luck Mat! Im sure you'll make it even better than what it was before. I'll look forward to your progress, mate 👍🏽💪🏽👊🏽
You probably won’t see this mate but i have been a subscriber for a while! Recently my car decided to give up on me due to fuel contamination. The intank fuel pump decided to give up! So long story short cleaned out the fuel tank cleaned the fuel lines and fitted new intank fuel pump and the new injectors and car is running just like new again! I was quoted 3k for all that to be done and had about 3 mechanics take the car for nearly 8 months! But I fixed the car in a couple of days! as I am a lorry driver and work a lot of hours and really only have couple days out the week when back home! Anyway thanks for doing what you do and if it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t have the nerve to have tried it!
I must say, I love how Matt and Freddy, who are from 2 opposite ends of the world, get along like life long buddies, helping one another out, collaborating, sharing, ect..I watch both religiously, and I must say...they are awesome together. Keep working together guys, you both are awesome...I love watching your vids and builds.
25:55 them looking at each other and smiling was amazing
Dad wasn’t that happy when he heard the bill for the aftermarket upgrades. You are so lucky to have a dad like him, he is a must for all your videos. Good luck with your rebuild crashed “lambo” which is far the best car which you have on your garage. Drive safe!
How does one remember where everything goes when you rebuild the car after dismantling it? And to make sure it is back 100%. That really amazes me.
Mat’s girlfriend Hanna is the greatest! She supports all of his financial madness! That’s REAL LOVE!
And gets a very nice life out of it..
That's because he brings home the money!
A rare woman in 2024
Money, love whats the difference 😂
Yes she is. I think they should do a mini Mat as soon as possible. Even a 2 year old toddler can do a lot of work. And their hands are tiny, so they can access those hard to get tight places
Freddy not flinching and saying you should make it front wheel drive 😂😂
This is incredible. What a challenge. I need to follow this process to the end. Good luck.
Mat I think you need a bigger black board for the parts list, you did a proper number on it! Can't wait to see it back and looking better than ever👍🏼
I'm so happy your sponsors allow you to do all this. I really like your videos. You're always so positive no matter what.
The timing of the release of this video could not have been better. Thank you for making my Sunday evening dinner view!
I subscribe to the conspiracy theory that Mat crashed it on purpose for content.
Love to see you and your dad and friends still so positive, could've gone a lot worse. I've had it in 2019 and was also really really really insanely lucky. A month after that I was laughing about it with my dad the same as you guys are doing now but sometimes we should remember we are blessed if it does not end like that!
Hannah’s face when you said you were putting in a V12, definite dog house for that 😂
Nice to see Kevin. Poor Hannah, you can see it in her eyes that she relives the crash in her mind.
Respect... good on you for giving it a go!
If Mat was doing 30mph when that happened then so was Rashford..😂
This channel is a bit like Clarkson’s Top Gear. You’d watch them do anything just to watch their banter and whatever they get up to next. Mat could rebuild a washing machine and they’d still make it a funny and amazing watch. That’s the gold here. I’d be amazed in mainstream TV doesn’t approach Mat for Top Gear or a program, this is better than ANYTHING on Sky etc!!
I think you ought to do a road-trip with Freddie one time while he’s over. A South of France, or Italian Lakes trip 👍🏻
I think Freddy should be home working on P1

I never understood why I have slicks on a car like that, especially in a wet country, but I'm happy ur saf3 for the car man enjoy. I wish I could work on it with you guys
I am in Oregon USA and we have the same type of weather and I run all seasons on my C6 Corvette. its so much better then slicks. they grip when it's cold don't have to wait for tire to heat up and they are great in the rain. I had some scary incidents when I had summer tires. especially when tires were cold.

I know it's crazy attempting to repair this but not only does the car have a lot of sentimental value it is also going to make a great project for the channel. Always good to see Mat, Toney and Freddie working together, so much energy and optimism, it's given my day a real boost. Glad no one was hurt in the crash and no more slicks in the UK unless it's on a track.
My favourite point is 12.10 where Matt try’s to compare his car with a child and Tony gives a barely perceptible shake of his head……basically he’s thinking, “what the heck you banging on about lad”…….as a dad of three kids I love the fact Tony will support his lad no matter what…..a true example of what it means to be a father and a man……Matt you have been lucky enough to have grown up with a real role model in your life, make sure you tell him how much you love and appreciate him every day 👍
This really hits home. My OG first car broke down and I had to buy a new one, but my parents and I love that 2013 Kia soul plus so much that we're fixing it by hand ourselves if we can get it to work. Sentimental value is everything :) I hope we can save our baby! been working on it for months it's just hard when money is tight. I'm sending you good vibes and energy on this Lambo Mat, you guys got it! It's gonna be even more sentimental for you after all the work :) Love your channel! Thanks for the amazing content.

Freddy and Matt are a great colab/duo. Both produce great content.
Good you are safe and well from that accident, my only criticism is as you took every part off this car you did not say it was an Armstrong, this is an Armstrong fluid like you have with Rashford LOL I agree with you that cars are your baby.

It's funny that I'm not into mechanics or fixing my own van really I just like watching the videos it's mad he can fix something in that much of a state .hook on this channel now .
Hi Mat, great vids as usual from the team. When I was watch the last video on the Mansory RR, you showed us all how much the prices were for Mansory parts. Is the any chance of guiding me to where I can get the Mansory parts for a 2023 Bentayga as I am thinking of looking at the Wide body set-up. Many thanks from the UK
The Stradman got that yellow parts car! Call him for that gallardo
If you watch both of these people your a top G car enthusiast
Strad's Gallardo is a first gen spyder (2003-2008)... Matt's is the modernized LP560 (2008-2013). There are big differences body panel wise.
@@classictoexotic Underneath they may be not so different frame wise though, he could maybe talk to stradman about buying some of the the structural parts off of him that he doesn't need to repair his orange car. Thats if their timings line up, because I cant see strad getting to the point where he can take off every single part that yellow gallardo to get to the subframes that quite literally the whole front and rear end are attached to . And then take them off, ship them, etc. Considering how fast paced Matt is with his rebuilds. But it could make for an interesting crossover between two channels cant lie.
So glad you're good Mat, repairing is the right decision. I'm looking at at those tyres at 1.42 and it makes me think the same thing every time. Those aren't tyres for the road on a cold damp Leicestershire night, those semi-slicks belong on a warm track day where their immense grip can be built up to, nurtured and found. I'm going to love to see this car repaired but please, road tyres for the road.
Agreed. One thing I learnt from this video was how little Matt knows about tyres. Were those slicks even in their temperature window? "summer" tyres and slicks lose grip as temperature drops. Typically around 4⁰ C you'll begin to be better off with "winter" tyres..
Well done mate, I hope it goes all smoothly for you. Keep your chin up!
I would genuinely move to Europe to have a chance to work with people like this. They seem so genuine and I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my time then working with cars with people that have just as much enjoyment as each other.
For someone who been in a kinda of a big crash, he doesn't look traumatized at all. What a Chad
It wasn’t a big crash
Hannah is the one who was traumatized
Are you new around here? Mat isn't the personality type to get hung up on bad things.
Big crash?!? Mat grabs his BMX and says “hold my beer!” 🍺
He's built different
I find the vibe on this channel so up lifting. Seeing the genuine friendship between this bunch is great ❤🙂
Well Glad you can get it fixed 😊
Anything is repairable given time and money... Is it worth it? is another question entirely. My own experience of building and repairing stuff is that there is always more than appears first off, often a lot more! Doing well on this one, hats off to you all.
No detective 🕵️♂️ Armstrong needed this time.. good luck you can do it 👍
Hello, I just wanna say you are my favourite car youtuber, I watched Tavarishes' P1 rebuild for like a week (I never watched it) and I felt a bit empty without your spirit in the video ❤
So... I live in a desert, it doesn't rain much, but when it does, it floods. I only put slicks on a car when going directly onto a track. My everyday tires are Eagle F1's, which are all weather tires.
im looking forward for this build more then then the rolls tbh cant wait for the next vid.
I so love seeing Matt and Freddy working together. Freddy is one of the most optimistic person I have seen when looking at a crumbled up cars. This is what keeps me coming back.
You’re not supposed to weld automotive frames. In Canada, mechanics and auto body specialists are not allowed to weld frames since heat can cause the material to change in composition, making it much more brittle.
Nothing you can't systematically deal w w heat treatment
He’s not in Canada tho he’s in the UK 😊
There’s not much you can do in Canada under the dictatorship of Justin Trudeau!
As a german i can tell, that lambo would never get a new registration here.
That’s waaaaay over the top. I know. Because, I fabricated pre production prototype cars for, Land Rover/Range Rover, Rover, MG, Ford, jaguar, Rolls Royce/Bentley, Aston. Martin, Leyland DAF. I worked for Airflow Streamlines in the 1990’s. Prototype division. We built rally cars also.
I do not know how many hours of work you put in but the results are amazing!
I love Camera Matt's view on the exhaust manifold and frame damage - 'if that's like that and that's like that it's pretty certain that that shouldn't be like that' :D
Bro make sure you always get some quality Michelin or Continental tires. Tires and brakes, two of the most underrated parts on a car
Driver skill is also a key part
@@apb3251 yes but he's not driving on a circuit. Why put semi slicks on a car like that 😉Safety first
@@xTOF_BEespecially being in England where it’s raining most of the time no idea why anyone would bother putting semi slicks on a car that’s street driven 99.999999% of the time just asking for trouble doing that

Never seen it done but I think u should do the entire engine bay chrome. I know that sounds crazy. But think about how different and clean 5hat could make the engine bay.
Crazy how strict UK law is. In the US, if your car is totaled, the insurance usually let's you buy it back with a salvage title. After repairing, the state police does an inspection and issues a rebuilt title for the vehicle.
Insurance companies do let you have the option of buying a vehicle back and once it's rebuilt it should undergo a bit more of a stricter version of the MOT ( ministry of transport ) test to make sure it meets road safety standards. I hope that is the reply you wanted
Not even. My car was totaled and I bought it back. I didn’t even have to give them my title. The dmv doesn’t know it was damaged. I can get it figured and the status of the title won’t be salvage
pretty similar here - not sure how insurer would view a huge loss induced by those tyres though....
