  • Laettner, Bird, Magic, Jordan, Stockton, Ewing, Malone, Drexler, Pippen, Robinson, Mullin, Barkley... it says a lot about a team when you can name every single player without hesitation even 30+ years later. And i am a german that was born in 1980. Cannot even remember 10 german players from our 1990 football world cup winning national team. Truely the greatest sports team that has ever stepped on a court, with great admiration from all over the world. Phenomenal guys...

    • I know the numbers without looking them up 4. Leatnner 5. Robinson 6. Ewing 7. Bird 8. Pippen 9. Jordan (i wore this # in elementary) 10. Drexler 11. Malone 12. Stockton 13. Mullin 14. Barkley 15. Magic Best assembled team I have ever witnessed, some come close these days; yet, theyll never be able to replicate that x factor I personally felt when watching their games. I am from Mexico, I was 10 when the Barcelona olympics took place.

    • @@archangelmusic13 Nope. Stockton was twice as good as Thomas in one key area that was vital to the the Dream Team: assists. He was better in other areas too, like sportsmanship. In Olympic sport, character is almost as important as ability. Stockton had both.

I started playing basketball when I was 9 years old, but with the Dream team's Barcelona Olympics I dreamed big... The best and most charismatic group of athletes in history!!!!!!!

  • Larry’s work ethic was crazy. The way he worked and the way he played, I have no doubt that he was checking out the soon to be rookies. During a practice game between the 1992 Dream Team and college kids, Larry said after watching, “Chris Webber was the man. If he’s coming in, I gotta get out”. The documentary is epic! 11 future Hall of Famers. Everyone was glued to their TVs for every game. It was a surreal time for us. You should check it out. I still watch at least once a week and the joy of watching beautiful basketball like you’ve never seen is still there. If you choose to react to it, don’t break it up. Even though it’s just over an hour, it goes fast. The hosts who did it in one video all were awed. The problem with those who broke it up is that it’s almost impossible to find all of the parts. Last time Larry and Magic played. They were the co1-captains 🥰

After brushing up on their journey, it's amazing to me how these pros started off playing like rag-tags and ended up smoking the world when they truly started working together.

  • "Bobby Hurley didn't play 2 seasons in the NBA(chuckles)..." What a clown! It should be noted that 19 games into his rookie season Hurley was involved in a terrible car accident. He suffered a severed trachea, two collapsed lungs, fractured left shoulder blade, five broken ribs, fracture in his back, torn ACL in his right knee, fractured right fibula. The surgeon who operated on him said those injuries would've killed 99 out of 100 people. Hurley played several more seasons but obviously was never going to be the same player again.

    • Breh I'm from Poland where 6% beers are the norm and people drink 7, 8, even 9% beers. I went to UK where beers 5% and over are considered strong, and people drink hop water of like 3% and csll it beer, which is similar to what they do in US; at least in UK they drink pints (around 600ml), in US fratboys drink few 300ml 3% beers and be hollering and freaking out lmao But to say you drink whiskey and see beer as pointless is dumb. I can drink 0.7l bottle of whiskey in one evening and go to work next day without issues and not even get that drunk, but get me 12 Tyskies in pint size bottles and I'll be fuuuuucked up.

I mean teams were in awe of them and wanted to take pictures and were taking pictures during the game and were so star struck. That team was the best ever assembled.
