You don't need PEDS to get a build like his most MMA fighters are built like this on training alone. Powerlifters NEED the assistance to recover and recruit more muscle mass that would be detrimental to a fighter who needs to be efficient with oxygen and very agile at all times. Not saying he didn't take any type of substances but you rarely need it to get to this level. • Jake doesn't play around when it comes to training for a role. This is one of the rare occasions where I see actually grueling and functional workouts instead of the typical bodybuilder program meant to gain mass and that's it. By the end of his Southpaw training and this one, he looks capable of actually fighting instead of just looking the part.

    @rocky8838@rocky8838Ай бұрын
    • What is not functional about a deadlift? How is bench press not functional? The strongest people in the world all do these exercises, just like bodybuilders.

      @Casparify@CasparifyАй бұрын
    • A benchpress is not declared as functional cause you do it only for the purpose of doing it. Never in real life u lie on the floor pressing some weight over your belly.. Deadlift may somewhat but also not, cause if you take something off the ground iRL you mostly have to do it in some odd way, therefore the deadlife does not prepare u for this. That's why does typical gym bro moves are not declared as functional. You won't be a fighter just cause u trained as gym bro...

    • Who declares these things ? You ? What if a beam falls on your chest, do you not bench press it up ? Or if you literally pick something heavy up in a weird way, do you not still use your hamstrings and lower back like in a deadlift ? Or lift an injured person and carry them, not a squat ? Bigger stronger muscles are better at everything, no matter how you trained them. Muscles won't make you a fighter, but a jacked fighter is better than a skinny fighter @@pun15h3r.
