  • I'm thinking Crawford is aware of his behavior in the ring - slow start, and all. It appears that is used to his advantage. I've seen opponents get a false sense of security when They tag him early. That makes sense - until Crawford demonstrates that's just part of His plan. Then He puts Them away. To suggest Lundy has taken Crawford out of His game, at any point, is ridiculous.

He seemed small to me compared to some of the big lightweights (guys who became WW's) and I told Felix that he should move down to SFW. Verdejo was just the nicest, sweetest guy. I'm Dominican, he is Puerto Rican. Who knew that behind that smiling exterior was a fuckin' demented soul who would later murder his pregnant girlfriend? He displayed that well against Hearns....and switched while right in front of him! That's why he's my favorite fighter hands down. Crawford has some similarities to Hagler.

Surprising Crawford and catching him at times) then Buds work at range shuts Lundy down in rounds 2 and 3. When Lundy tried to come on strong again in the 4th Bud knows what’s coming and catches him. What a finisher is Bud! Once he has his man hurt it’s game over.
