  • I was adopted into a white home. And my dad is a police officer. He retired right before the high rise of fallen officers due to the hatred caused by blm and other’s movements. He came out of retirement now works as a SRO officer. But once the school year is over he’s going back to the streets. I didn’t see that brown man on the screen I saw my dad. I’m so glad for all the years he came home. You don’t realize any minute it could be a family member whose risking there lives for our country. Please take a minute for the fallen hero’s on this Memorial Day for the ones who didn’t make it back home and hug the ones who did❤🤍💙🇺🇸

    • We had recently lost a. Fellow friend, a fellow brother in blue in the spring... I cant tell you how hard it hit us all... this song makes me cry so hard. We were out hunting for turkeys, the thing our fellow Zach loved to do. His passion was hunting. He loved it. I'll never forget it. We were listening for gobblers when we heard the sound that made our hairs on our neck stand up, sirens. Not even 3 miles from us, he crashed... we heard it all from less than 3 miles away. We knew something was up. So we left our hunting spot to find out, as we got to our car, it was then that we got the call. Our friend died in the accident on his way home from working night shift. It was the first time I'd seen my SO, cry.... we all cried....

My dad is a truck driver, he has came super close to losing his life all because of idiots that think tractor trailer's can stop immediately and people that are on their phones and dont know what waiting to reply to a text means. I am 12 and it is June 27th, 2019 and I've only seen my dad twice this year and I cant wait to see him on July 4th. He is retiring on July 3rd and I am so happy he is. • Logan, Don't give up on him just yet. Continue to be there for him. Always remind him that you are there for him. If you can contact any of his unit, do it. Let them know what is going on. We are a brotherhood because of the things we have gone through unlike most others. Many of the ones that do make it back from the dark places is because of the support of our families & our comrades in arms. But again, don't give up & don't let him give up either.
