Mr Red White and Blue was written for a young veteran named Craig Carp that served our country. A true patriot. I was lucky enough to help him get a home with the Military Warriors Support Foundation. Mr Red White and Blue was written for him and ALL of our heroes that serve our country, for the families that miss them, and for those currently serving now. This is the perfect song to celebrate Independence Day (4th of July), Veterans Day, or Memorial Day.

"Mr. Red White and Blue"
Coffey
Lyrics:
Its the guts and its the glory, a hundred stripes a hundred stories
It's the pledge of Allegiance on the 4th of July
Its the handwritten letters from home,
its the sleepless nights alone
It's his newborn baby he left with his wife.
Mr Red White and Blue
Lay down his life
Mr Red White and Blue
For these Stars and Stripes
From the fields of Indiana
to the swamps of Louisiana
To the golden coast of Californ'
Uncle Sam's the only family he's got
His purple heartbeat wont stop
and his 18th birthday was the day he was born
Chorus
patriotic song, military song,

    • Coffey, thank you for your music. This song means so much to me. My son is an Army Vet that came home with severe PTSD. He served in the war 6 of his 8 years of service. He was a gunner. Jumped in at the age of 18 and is now 36. He has finally settled into life with a beautiful wife and her daughter and together they have a disabled son of 6 years old. All of that just to say how much I appreciate you! Even thru the tears ❤❤

He is healthier today than he was 3 years ago. He had osteomylis. He feels better and looks healthier than I've seen him over the years. The infection is gone. He finally got his permanent leg last month. Waiting for his PT to start up again. To all those who fought for this country, I don't care where you served, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you and your families have done. May God bless you and keep y'all safe. Thank you to the families of those who gave ultimate sacrifice. I know there is nothing I can say. But I just had to say thank you.

To my cousins joining each branch to my brother who’s been in the Army for 7 years and still in the army to having family friends that were in the military.🥹❤️I’m proud of each and everyone of them and pray each and everyday for each and every one of our troops to come back to us home safely in one piece.❤️🤍💙🇺🇸 My best friend from Kindergarten her big brother was like my big brother🥺 he was my brother best friend sadly after high school he joined the military and they sent him to war right away. Sadly we got the news from his parents that he didn’t come back home alive 😞💔 to this day I still grief over him and I thank him so much for his service but also for being like my big brother. ❤️‍🩹

I asked him would your do again. He told me damn strait I would. And though he has suffered greatly. He is now contracted with the Army. He is now a trainer. And training to be an Army dog trainer. Because one saved his life in Afghanistan. Nothing can take down a soldier ever. Many have given up their meat suit for their country their family, their freedom. But no MF can never have your soul. I understand that being a soldier is a calling that not a lot of people get. I come from a military family. I get it! I love all of you. You have the kind of courage that changes the world. • My father passed away from Alzheimer's in June of 2016 at the age of 92. He remembered very little of anything recent, but he sure remembered the old times of when he had served this country. He would tell us these stories over and over again, mostly funny stories, but when it came to the bad, he would just bow his head and shake it, and with mourning, disbelief, and tragedy in his face, just say 'the things I had seen'. Nothing more needed saying. Those good memories he would share though, and those are the memories I hold dear. He was a tiny man, and the other soldiers would tease him about that. He would laugh and tell us how once he had to jump from boat to boat as the ships rocked back and forth, crashing against each other, hoping he'd make it to the other side. He didn't have a driver's license, too scared to drive, but he needed one in the Army. So they sent him out on a tanker, the tanker chugging and jolting, forwards and back, as he gave it his best. They gave him his license anyway, and afterwards, the other soldiers joked with him and said that they wanted to ride with Copie, that they'd never get hit. He had some very fond memories of his time serving, memories that the disease allowed him to keep and die with. Also, the bad. But either way, he was proud to have served, and a soldier in his platoon who had outlived him helped lay the flag on his coffin. He took the pride of serving his country with him. RIP, 'Copie', my dad. We miss you dearly, as does the country you served.
