the way the chicken meat is treated i doubt that this is salmonella free. cutting and marinating should be done fast and withoput temperature loss. and then the warm meat stayed for an eternity in that container till the whole thing got cooked and cut down. i really hope that nobody got sick

Okay, so the question is never answered. I decided to take it upon myself. Here goes: At 15:45, I see 4 rows of 34, so that would be 136 shawarma +- 1 or 2, because the bottom row isn't aligned. Honestly thought it would be more. At my local kebab guy, he usually has less meat and the kebabs are smaller; by the end of the day, he has, in the vicinity of half of his meat left from a full spit. He also has a little device to cut the meat, instead of what is done in the video. Economical efficiency, people! From my local kebab guy, I'd assume he makes a _lot_ more than the aforementioned 136. All while using less meat. Anyway, great video (except for the weird touching all of the kebabs part).

We Turks never cut doner with a normal knife. the knife should be a doner knife. (machete long) also you didn't need to freeze it to shape it. you could have shaped the overflowing parts by cutting them with that long knife I mentioned and you could have started cooking directly. but you still did a great job. I appreciate it as a Turk ♥
