One of the most underrated ever
Playoffs Reggie was sooo fun to watch! He was so prepared and focus. Took what defenders gave him and react really quickly! It made him so hard to guard! His off screen running, pump fake, floater, step back were so lethal! Very unpredictable! Like Reggie so much!
Before there was Ray Allen and Stephen Curry, there was Reggie Miller!!!
before reggie miller there was larry bird before larry bird there was john havelick
And Klay
@LeBran Flakes Who is he?
@LeBran Flakes I didn't know.
reggie was dope indeed. very unorthodox for his time and definitely a blueprint for what was to come
That 3 - steal the inbound pass for another 3 to tie the game against the Knicks had me going crazy. One of those unforgettable moments in sports.
He was so clutch, always stepped up in the playoffs
He is the modern dame lol
Reggie is the only player in nba history that whenever he shoots you feel it’s going in always!!!
Reggie Miller went toe to toe with MVP Allen Iverson in 2001 35 year old Miller averaged 31.3 PPG on 46/43/93 25 year old Iverson averaged 31.5 PPG on 41/26/79
Excellent comment!
just look at the efficiency stats lol
Holy shit. He was fkn elite they need to show these clips on nationwide TV I don’t think the general public knows
In a playoff series. These are not stats of the season. The pacers lost 3-1 in the first round against the 76er's
@@epicans6065 thanks for the clarification lol
Miller was born with a hip deformity that forced him to wear leg braces in his youth. That's insane that he overcame that and became a hall of fame NBA player.
I wish he was in 2k , Reggie was a bucket
Fax if 2k had the early 2000s or 90s Pacers teams with Reggie or if he was on the all time Pacers team I would be using them a lot
@@juliangarcia1221 he not on all time indiana pacers?
@@lyonjara5816 obviously you didn't read the comment correctly
And Ron artest, I wanna play with the 03-04 Pacers. Or the 04-05 Pacers
Build him
Reggie Miller the Legend! I miss those days!#Pacer4Life
Could you imagine if reggie was in today game .. he was absolutely amazing to watch especially in the playoffs 👏 🙌
Imagine if this guy played in this era of nba basketball
His name is steph curry
@@jahleelx9270 yea but he's 6'7 not 6'3".
He would be starting all kinds of fights. He talked more trash then Ray's trash service.
@@rjallday28same difference.
Klay
We need his 97-98 season or 99-00 season.
Growing up in Indiana, about 40 miles from Indy, this man was an idol. He didn't look like the typical athlete. R-E-G...G-I-E, Reggie, Reggie. There was nothing like the sound of Market Square Arena, and I mean all of MSA, would chant:"Reggie, Reggie. Reggie!" P.s. up yours Spike Lee
Reggie didn't act like your typical athlete either. Remember how he would regularly come on the Bob and Tom show? "Re-ggie, Re-ggie..." over the Indy car roar they blasted during the playoffs...so great! There was nothing so great in all of life at the time than when Reggie blew up Spike Lee yet again, and the meek, helpless, "I'd give ANYTHING to be able to crawl under the scorer's table right now" look on Lee's face - priceless!
That nbc 🎶theme just brought me back !!
Nba on NBC in 2 years
One of the greatest shooters in general ever. He was also one of the clutchest and fierce competitors ever. MILLER TIME!
I was very blessed to live in indianapolis through the 80s and 90s when the Pacers were on a tear. Indeed, so fun to watch! From the theatrics and unreal shooting by Reggie, to the dirty work and blocked shots from Davis brothers, to the incredible accuracy from 7'4" Smits, they were really fun to root for. In particular was their playoff runs, which of course culminated with the excitement already there in May around the Indy 500. The Indy car sound they played during the games, very cool!
Combination of scoring and shooting... Imagine if he played in this era.... Glad that I have witnessed him playing..... Also one of my top 4 favorite trash talkers of all time
Thank you for saying that. Reggie was a bonafide scorer
@@t.r.o.y.therighteousobeysy8358 exactly... and you have youngsters shitting on him smh
As a kid I loved watching Peja of the Sacramento Kings and Reggie Miller
I've requested a Reggie Miller season long time ago and you made me a promise in the comments! I'll fully enjoy this
I relly miss the 90's NBA, so many characters and players too, it was just amazing, Jordan indeed was a factor. bring me back to the 90´s
That stare down to Spike Lee was #Iconic 💯
reggie miller was one of steph curry's favorite players growing up (the other was steve nash).
Still waiting for Deron Williams GOAT SZN Max!!!
DWill used to have em on skates that would be an epic video!
I miss dwill him and Chris Paul were the best young point guards for a while
@@presidentialkingdom2201 shows u what level cp3 is on because he’s still a top guard in the league and dwill went the way of the 🦕
His shooting technique is actually extremely fundamental imo,his knees bent, his dip, his elbow angle, his high release. Flawless. If he played in today's style of game he would easily drop 25+ a night
Actually there’s a vid of his release and he crosses his hands after he shoots. He was actually unorthodox. They compared it to Kobe’s which was flawless and in line toe to fingertip textbook.
@@ryantwitter343 true
One of my favorite Players as a kid
Been asking for a Reggie video for months . MaxaMillions always delivers !!
Grew up in Indy in the late 90s and early 2000s. This guy was absolutely loved even without the ring.. would have loved to see him in todays game with the training and play style
b4 curry came into the league reggie miller was my favorite player
U gotta fix for skinny lightskin niggas dat can shoot?
@@juiethaking7979 no it’s not that i grew up in indiana and he’s played 4 them from 1987-2005
legendary
Long awaited!! Much appreciated!!😍😍😍
would be a star today. just shows you how the game changes
He’d average 25+ easily. Can’t touch him, can’t be in his landing spot and has the green light to shoot 10+ threes a game
he was a star in his era so obviously he would be a star in todays game lol
@@Maxjuliann i guess i misspoke, but i meant like all nba, superstar status
He was all NBA 3xs but I know whatchu mean. He just existed in the Jordan era bruh Mike was dimming everybody’s star 🌟. Kinna like when James Harden was going crazy but no one really cared because it was the Steph/LeBron show.
He would average like 30 or more in today's game
I even remember they broke Reggie's orbital bone. He came back with that mask and was still killin fools.
REGGIE MILLER WAS THE ORIGINAL PEYTON MANNING IN INDIANAPOLIS. THE PACERS SUCKED FOR A LONG TIME AND ALWAYS FOUND A WAY TO CHOCK. HECK THEY COULD HAVE DRAFTED MJ BUT TRADED THE PICK AWAY. ONCE REGGIE HIT HIS PRIME HE TOOK THE PACERS TO THE PLAYOFFS EVERY YEAR FOR A LONG TIME. HE CARRIED THE TEAM ON HIS BACK AND NEVER DISAPPOINTED. IT SUCKS THAT HE NEVER WON A CHAMPIONSHIP BUT AT LEAST HE RETIRED A PACER WHICH SHOWS THE AMOUNT OF RESPECT HE HAD FOR THE TEAM AND THE STATE OF INDIANA. REGGIE IS ONE OF THE GREATEST PLAYERS OF ALL-TIME AND THE GREATEST PACER.
Excellent video I think that maybe you could make another video of Reggie Miller from the 89-90 season. Maybe the 99-00 season will be very good!
Both of them plus 2000-01
The OG play shot bro was so ahead of his time
He was so unselfish.. only averaged less than 15 field goal attempts per game in his prime. When he was on the court with Rik Smits, the Pacers focused on making the most out of Rik because of his knees. At the end of the game or in the 4th quarter, everybody knows who's gonna shoot, but you just can't stop him. He's not like today's shooters. So unselfish. If he plays in today's league, he would definitely score a lot more than back then.
Absolutely 💯. Miller arguably could have averaged 28 til 30ppgs easy in this nonhand checking era 🤔
The Warriors would be salivating at the thought of getting Reggie Miller to come play for them in todays game. Helps their Klay Thompson problem lmao
love your work. would like to see one of these guys Tim hardaway 91/92 Glen rice 96/97 Alonzo mourning 95/96 Rasheed wallace 01/02 stephon marbury 00/01
Man I miss this! As a Hoosier I grew up watching him play and it made me love basketball!
Thanks so much for the video! Been waiting to see a highlight video on this man. People forget just how much of a killer he really was. Keep up the good work! :D
we been waiting on this one
Reggie was our scorer, Smits got points too, but Reggie was the man.
Reggie one my favorite players!/ great shooter, hard work pays off, clutch player!
I’m glad you made this bro
Mark Jackson joining the pacers elevated Reggie’s game!!!!!! He knew where to find him
Reggie, Reggie, Reggie..... Reggie was phenomenal! He carried the Pacers for over a decade and was always so unselfish, never played for the stats, but for the team. In this era he would have been at least on Curry's level, if not more. Thank you for posting this video!
You have some fantastic footage here! Thank you!!
Do dominique wilkins 1987-88 season
Great upload!!!!!
Top 5 greatest 2 guard ever!! Mike kobe wade Iverson and Reggie
THANKYOU FOR THIS VIDEO THIS IS BAD AZZ FIRST VIDEO I SEE GIVING REGGIE HIS DO'S.!!
those quick release three's were so difficult to make because he was coming off screens and he was a motion 2 shooter which means he must gather the ball first, put the ball above his head and then shoot it in a quick release
Uncle Reggie is one of the greats I never really got into, thanks for the upload,I hope 2k can finally put him in the game😎🍻🍺
Never happening. He won’t allow it until they pay the retired player association like Barkley said. All they want is a million but 2k is too cheap to pay it. So we may not see Reggie or chuck in 2k anytime soon.
His Greatest season of his career he really put on a show this season.
Think this is best season?.....hmmm maybe...in '90 was his highest ppg....but u prolly right
@LeBran Flakes true true.....(like ur profile pic) lol
Reggie is the best and my favorite player I had him over every one cause he was my favorite player
Modern basketball right here, 3 pointers, stepbacks, moving with out the ball. Dude would be top 3 in todays game. Miller was my fav player growing up.
He beat wade miami team when he was 40 years old
@@mcjr1989 To be fair, it was O'Neal Artest and Jackson team at that point.... Miller was just the face of the organization.
@@NewEarthSon nope miller was the highest scorer when they beat miami
Great video!!!
Reggie Miller is Honestly my number 1 all time favorite player!¡¡! He's also one of those players that should've won a title but he refused to jump ship to get one loyalty and respect my HERO!¡¡!
Pick a dream team, he's my first pick, every time, every time
Great video like always! Have you thought about doing a Rondo goat season?
reggie goat szn should have been 89/90
@LeBran Flakes His best statistical season is his goat szn... that was reggie at his best. you’re talking about when he had his best TEAM.. goat szn is a guys best most dominant individual season. not when he had the most team success. So much goes into team success.
@LeBran Flakes his best individual season yes... just like jordan best individual season was 88. jordan wasn’t winning titles in 88
@@Se0420_ Respectfully disagree. I watched the Pacers. Reggie was a better scorer in 90, but he was more dominant in 94. The playoffs is where it counts. Reggie didn't try to score as often in the regular season. This is Reggie at his peak. 90 was the rise.
Best basketball channels on KZhead
NBA ON NBC.
If you can't see the rule difference in todays game then you're crazy. It's not a coincidence that scoring is outta control now
🔥🔥🔥Can we get that 05 Stoudemire, 01 Stackhouse, 97 Iverson, or that 02 Pierce?
STOUDEMIRE 08 was MVP Fasho
People don't know about 02 Pierce. He has every right to say he is on Wade's level. People think of 07 Pierce who had to adjust to two superstars.
I remember watching Reggie, he was giving a lot of people their issue.
simple one of the best
Another banger sheeesh. Are you going to do a Pistons Isaiah Thomas goat season?
Pls do a Isiah Thomas video bro!! People forgot about his greatness
Yes !!! The '86-'87 season.
Wow, just wow.
I never payed attention of Miller’s game til now but he really was unpredictable player💯 his game wasn’t the smoothest or fluid but what made him unique is that every open window of opportunity whether it was spacing or separation from the other opponent, he took advantage of it no matter what. He didn’t care how his playstyle looked he just wanted to get a bucket every chance he got. It seemed like he just throw it up praying it’s goes in like steph.
REGGIE AND STEPH ARE SIMILAR IN WAYS MANY PPL DONT KNOW🔥🔥🤟🏽
They really different shooters but ig reggie more on ray allen
They are similar. The difference is Steph is shorter so he can't shoot over people like Reggie. Also Steph does a little more on ball point guard stuff. Steph is in-between Reggie and Sam Cassell
He deserves a championship ring.
Mahmoud, the curry before curry would be a great one
It was always an explosion of noise, no matter if you were watching from home or at the game, when Reggie slam dunked it.
I remember collecting reggie miller nba cards more than jordan
Ima 2001 cat and Reggie Miller is my favorite player of all time if not top 2
My favorite shooter
Reggie for ever ^^
Back when 3 pointers were part of the game, not the entire game.
@ AG 21.-$0 True-Blue.
Scoring is and always be the goal of basketball. Curry and Klay was more efficient than Reggie Miller
@@jackjax7921 doesn’t make them better
This shit just made my fucking Friday. 🔥
I was fortunate enough to grow up and play during the time of Micheal Jordan second 3-peat, and I always idolised him and admired the Bulls... but when it came to the games, I was always cheering for Indiana and the other underdogs to win. I'm so sad he never got a ring.
noti gang 🙌
Favorite series on KZhead. Can we get Derrick Rose MVP season?
Check the playlist! It’s already there... ;-)

Why is this man not in 2k?
15:34 Reggie miller handle was crazy
Just imagine if he played in today NBA!!!
Talk about ahead of his time holy shit, he would average 35 rn
Indiana was the one team that nearly dethroned the Bulls.
Miller time
Do Tim Duncan 1998 1999 highlights
It was only his third season too 🐐
Splash father
Now we need a jermaine o'neil highlight feel
1b favorite player
4th quarter come, it’s miller time!
The subtle footwork at 0:32 is beautiful to watch. Young players today can learn a LOT from watching how Reggie moves without the ball.
Couple years after this he had quite a few reg season game winners Running along the score table vs Boston was 1 of.em But opening with Reggie welcoming mj back was a good time Lol when the 26 -10 rebounds was shown, probably the moment Dennis Rodman was sought. Ironic in game 7 in 98 the bulls had the ball almost literally the whole 4th coz of.rebounding
3:55 and 1 in todays game, crazy to see that not be called 😂
Watching him do step backs and learners is dope kinda crazy how old heads hate on it now cause they didn’t actually watch ball
Mane is like curry moves without the ball so pure
Sadio Mane ?
