Horrifying Moment! How Ukrainian Bradley Destroys Russian front-line Defenses

Russian soldiers packed into Moscow's tanks and infantry fighting vehicles (IVFs) are "afraid" to launch operations "when they know that a Bradley will be against them," said Kach, a Ukrainian commander of the country's 47th Mechanized Brigade who goes by his call sign, as is common among Ukrainian fighters.
Kach is adamant-the U.S.-supplied Bradleys save Ukrainian lives along the hottest parts of the front line against Russian troops and armoured vehicles.
Commander points to BMP "this, is a weapon of terror it is meant to frighten your enemy." points to Bradley "this, is a weapon of war. it is meant to end your enemy."
Nice SG-1 reference
@@charlesransom4546 thank you 😊
@@charlesransom4546This is so coincidental, watching sg-1 and saw that episode yesterday lol.
You're not wrong. The BMP looks scary, its' cannon has a very high rate of fire, impressive on paper. It can fit more troops. But in real life? The BMP actually offers almost zero protection. It can barely withstand infantry firearms, anything with more firepower like bigger shrapnel, autocannons, or anti-tank weapons just cut through it. But what's even worse, is that BMP's store fuel and ammo in a way that just makes them giant bombs on tracks. And even worse for the BMP crews, the thing has zero spall liners or protection post penetration. What this means is that good vehicles have designs to limit the damage of ordnance that does penetrate the armor. Which is why it is rare to have fatalities when Bradleys get hit. The spall and fragmentation of the penetrating ordnance is limited to only a small projectile passing through the vehicle. Ammo and fuel are sealed in a way to prevent catastrophic explosions. BMP has none of that, so when anything hits it, there is a 90 degree cone of destruction inside, and if that cone hits any ammo or fuel the whole vehicle goes boom. Moving to the BMP cannon, it is one of the most inaccurate pieces of shit I have seen. Any footage of the BMP autocannon at work, shows that even at relatively close ranges, it just showers a 50 meter radius. It's just not capable of hitting even the wide side of a tank at 100 meters, with more than 10% accuracy. But it looks scary on paper.
The difference between commie weapons and NATO weapons NATO weapons work
NATO at large: Bradleys are infantry support vehicles and APCs, not for front line combat or tank-busting. Every Bradley crew ever: hold my beer and watch this shit.
They told soldiers that with the M113 and it ended poorly. So they simply increased armour and weapons on their next IFV so they could be used in the way soldiers insisted on using them.
They have hidden the Abrams so they don't break them. Because to date the Abrams have only "fought" with very small armies
@@Pepe-ry8pm Why are you talking about the Abrams??? Can you not read? I'm talking about the Bradley. Go spew your propaganda somewhere relevant.

So, Defend your home? So the USA should also send its M2 Bradleys to Palestine, right? To defend their homes from Israeli Genocidal Attacks But on the other hand, the USA sends weapons and aircraft carriers to continue killing civilians, right?
The Western Vehicles have one huge advantage against the Russians. Their vehicles when hit usually the crew survives. In the case of the Russian tanks and other vehicles the turret blows off and the crew is killed.
unfortunately bradleys dont have blow out panels like the abrams so if it got ammo racked the turret could pop off and the crew would be killed just like the russian vehicles
Neahhh, both vehicles have similar crew kill probability, nither the russian tank crew always dies, nor the Ukranian crew always survives. The results after getting hit are very similar, be it Russian armour or European. U wil find estimate of russian casualty by European agencies, but no estimate of Ukranian casualties 😁, u might wonder why. Its all about perspective
@@bubblestrike7416 you think a nation that has a candidates win rate at 98% to be more faithful than a nation that a candidate sweeps the polls at 60%? You must be from North Korea then! 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
@@bubblestrike7416talking about IFVS/light tanks/vehicles, you’re probably correct, although for MBTs like leopard 2, abrams, strv122a save their crew. Quite a big reason as for why we’ve been sending them to Ukraine, remember, their population is way less than russia and way fewer soldiers.
But, the Russian tank turrets get rated much higher for lift and sticking the landing on dismount. The T-90’s torrent can get up to 50-60 meters and land gun first. I’ll bet an Abrams can’t do that 😂
Its a well designed and effective. Not invisible wich is impossible for any vehicle but very effective. That is what counts.
It’s a heap of shit
Well designed? Ehhhhhhh questionable considering its development history. Its just that We continued to try and make it better than what it was and Russians don't exactly do that
What no real mention of the Bradley IFV and how the vehicle is equipped with all weather advanced optics, sensors, and communication systems, such as thermal imaging, a laser rangefinder, GPS navigation, and a digital intercom.
I suspect that the US would of removed much of it's top end gear from the Bradleys before shipping them out to Ukraine. Not that I think that Ukraine will ever be defeated by the orcs, but if you look at all the shiny new tech that its western allies have sent to them this past 2 years, every piece of kit that gets captured, you can bet your bottom dollar on it that the kremlim will get their grubby mitts on it and start the process of attempting to reverse engineer everything. They'll do this because almost every piece of kit that the orcs have been on the receiving end of is leagues above the crap that the orcs get issued with. This includes body armour, helmets, field dressings, ammo, optics, anti tank weapons, thermal imaging, gun/barrel stabilizers and everything else.
And Bluetooth audio and cruise control. Ukraine is getting its tail kicked.

😂😂😂
Of course the bradley IS an IFV, it carries troops and is armed with TOW missiles that can kill a tank and a 25mm cannon. You mean the M113 is not an IFV.
It's funny how a lot of people say the bmpss light and maneuverable but here are former bmp and btr operators saying a Bradley is superior in every way lol, Russia achieves accuracy by volume, while the US is focused on overall accuracy, precision fires is increased lethality
Just goes to show what modern equipment is capable of
BMP and BTRs are not even close to a Bradley's capabilities.
Its a balancing act, as Germany proved in WW2. Having THE BEST of something, but not being ale to manufacture, operate or maintain enough to fight means you arent going to win. Germany armor generally had the best guns, armor, power plants and optics. However they were unable to source enough parts, capacity and materials to bring those superior weapons to bear. Meanwhile, America settled on pretty good vehicles with pretty good optics, guns and armor that they could produce easily and repair quickly. And russia made the fastest to produce POS they could drown the enemy in. And germany couldnt keep up with either. Thats always worried me aout the modern US military. We have the nicest toys in the world, but it seems to take years to replenish
I get what you are saying but when your kill ratio with a Bradley is 10 to 1 vs a BTR/BMP you don't ned to replenish as many. @@JKSSubstandard
So the Bradley with it's one gun is able to switch between high explosive and armour piercing ammunition while the Terminator with it's 2 guns has trouble switching between different guns and ammunition types, I'm confused! The Bradley is an Infantry Fighting Vehicle, it's not a tank, it's lighter and faster than a tank while the Terminator is built on an existing tank chassis and handles like a tank. The Bradleys are being placed in harm's way and getting hurt but an awful lot of Russian tanks (including Terminators), and APCs are getting destroyed. I think I'd rather be in a Bradley! The Bradley has been accused of just being a Jeep, but when the British Long Range Desert Transport Group got Jeeps and carried the SAS the result was legendary!
Come back when this “terminator” tank actually exists.
The turdinator can barely stop its own barrels falling off. To change ammo is a nighmare, easier to fire off unwanted rounds then load what you want , 1 minute after you needed it! Bradley gun / bushmaster can switch feeds within 5 rounds
I went to combat in Baghdad in 06-07 with the M2A2 ODS. The firepower, protection, and mobility even in Urban terrain. Which it did all three better than any other vehicle combined in the American inventory. Its firepower isn’t quite the same as an Abrams, but the firepower was devastating and it could drive over road blocks like they weren’t there. It’s armor was only surpassed by an Abrams but it could caring 6-7 dismounts comfortably or cargo. So much versatility, but expensive and complex with heavy maintained requirements.
Bradley's ads don't work when they didn't help the Ukrainian regime in the summer counteroffensive. The counteroffensive failed. Most of Bradley was burned by the Russians.
@@user-ww1ip1uz5d The Russians turned the front lines into minefields, if a Bradley hits a mine it can be immobilised, like the Hellcats of World War 2 the Bradley depends on movement for safety, an immobilised Bradley can be zeroed in and destroyed by enemy artillery. Even a Challenger 2 the toughest tank in the world was destroyed by artillery after hitting a mine. The infantry assigned to a Bradley ride inside while the infantry assigned to a Russian BMP ride on top because it's too dangerous to ride inside. Perhaps America could replace the Bradleys that have been destroyed, 100 Bradleys versus 4150 Russian BMPs doesn't seem quite fair!
Bradley. A vehicle so good that entire comedy movie was made about its development (The Pentagon Wars).
Love that movie, so funny how they keep changing shit 😍😍🟦🟦🟨🟨
Yeah! I liked that one! The movie is good, but the actual machine is better!
Brilliant film. Would be interesting to see something similar on the BMP !
Look at the pile of shit the HUMV was until they fixed it's problems. The bradley had great weapons, but sank if I remember as it was promised it could float.
The one that blatantly makes shit up!
The Bradley IFV went through what could charitably be called "development hell" as the planning and design boards were steered back-and-forth in different directions for well over a decade. Critics refer to it as a compromise. And, it is. But that's not automatically a bad thing. Certainly, the Bradley has performed admirably over the decades. Upgrades to it's weapons and electronics have kept it relevant on the battlefield to the present. Several other countries, impressed with the Bradley's performance history, have purchased the IFV for their own forces. Small wonder that the Ukrainian army likes them and that the Russian army has come to despise them so much.
I mean, the Russians can't build anything that doesn't break after a few years of use. Its no wonder the Russian troops despise the Bradley. Russian vehicles are basically death traps while the Bradley is capable of at least keeping its crew alive.
All weapon systems are a compromise between manuverability, fire power and protection.
@@azurblueknightsYes, the Russians definitely cannot build something that will last more than a couple of years, and the fact that some countries (including Ukraine) still use Soviet vehicles is simply an accident.
@maksimfrolov5918 A country who is desperate is willing to dump stupid sums lf money into weapons platforms that are ancient if that is all they have. We are seeing in real time how badly Russian made military products are. The difference is that Russia doesn't have the funds to repair their shit that breaks. It's one thing to have a product that can just participate in a parade or two in an effort to make a good impression. It's another thing entirely to have a product that can withstand decades of near constant military usage, either through actual combat or during training exercises. Why do you think Russian military exercises are mainly propaganda designed to trick foreign powers that their military is capable? Because Russian equipment is shoddy and barely functions even during the best of times.
it's completely shit at the task it was originally intended for but it's pretty good at a bunch of other stuff. I ~suppose~ that's a compromise. I think they just got lost in the money and ACCIDENTALLY came up with something useful.
The Iranian tanks? I missed that war
Yeah, I was going to say the same thing. Gotta love the AI voices

Next thing you know that the antitank land mined will have identify friend or foe to turn off mines when friends ride over them.

That was in development almost 20 years ago
Not sure why you added the pics of the Pershing 2's at the 7 min mark since they were eliminated in the early 1990's. Though as an old "Pershing Warrior" it was nice to look at.
Most of this video is fake
Russians-dethrone your Putin.
At 4:53 we see a destroyed German Leopard 2 tank, not a Russian one. I hate to see that!
The Leopards did not do well in Syria, the Turkish tactics exposed the Leopard 2 in the same way the Saudis exposed the M1 Abrahams in Yemen: Lone attacks without dismounted infrantry.
I bet my old Bradley is over there.. I wish i knew.. HHC Scout Platoon 1-15th Inf Bn, 3rd Inf Div. Dog Face Soldier. Rock of the Marne!
It seems like the Bradley M2 is lethal against tanks. Who would have guessed? The depleted uranium rounds firing 25mm round bursts at 5-6 rounds/sec sheer through armor setting the inside of the tank on fire. The computerized chain gun tracking can target multiple tanks simultaneously and engage them all in a few seconds while moving at 65 KPH/40 MPH. If a tank hits it, it’s done but tanks have to be fast and first but it’s usually too late.
I feel like folks greatly underestimate that chain gun.
@@azurblueknights Yep, and to prove your point those folks aren’t even around to ask.
Not really. Sure, the Bradleys scored more tank kills than Abrams in the Gulf War and it can penetrate T-55, but it can't pen T-72 and T-72 with makeups, the T-90, best it can do is disabling optics and vulnerable modules.
@@danh7411 The Bradley has destroyed at least 3 T-90’s in Donetsk to date. Penetrated armor, killed crew and all. T-72’s are being penetrated by the 25mm depleted uranium rounds all the way through both side of the turret and setting the tank on fire. Do the research yourself.
@@truthvfiction It literally can't, all 3 men inside said T-90M made it out alive and fine. You can look up RedEffect for this footage.

There's a song by Rage Against The Machine that I used to think was about kickass Bradleys (the infantry support vehicles). I thought the lyrics to Bulls on Parade went "We rally round the Bradley, with a pocket full of shells", but I was very wrong apparently.
Gotta love how the insane pressure groups tried to paint the bradley as garage and worse then its predecessor the APC and just a way for generals to embezzle. And then when the Bradley gets into an actual war, it dominates its opponents.
its almost as if, the Bradley was made for this. Its in its element. Wooded area, Troop Transport, Close Support Combat, TOWs to kill MBTs.
A Bradley cant kill a tank. Now, TOW missiles... those kill tanks all the time.

They are old vehicles made in the 80s. The United States government has hated this thing since the get go having 3 programs trying to replace it. The troops on the other hand have loved it. But the main reason like I said before is it's old same thing with the Abrams. It's hard to update such an old platform. Most of the bot accounts bashing on nato equipment do not understand its all 40 years or older tech being sent to Ukraine. It's literally a free way to send equipment to be scraped on the battle feild to save more money to spend on new programs. It costs huge sums of money for upkeep on old tech left in storages. This war is literally just a junk yard for nato.
Yes, it's also a dumping ground for Russian T70 and T80 stocks.
During the Cold War - NATO trained to fight outnumbered 8 to 1 - and win. NATO nations have been training Ukrainian military personnel since 2014 ... When given NATO training and NATO equipment - any nation can be effective. The Russians haven't had a good army since I don't know when. The Russians like to talk about how much they bled in WWII. They bled so much because they were stupid. What the video said about the Ukrainians initially losing some Bradleys but learning to use them better makes sense. As with anything whatever it's advantages - you have to learn to use it. If you use a Bradley the way you would a Russian Vehicle - you may well get similar results. .
To think a troop transporter that was a absolute shitshow when it was first constructed is now so scary on the battlefield is an amazing feat of engineering

Reloading the TOW launcher is awkward. Really needs a redesign.
This may be true, but unlike every other missile system in use there is no stopping it once its been fired. There's no signal one can jam and no internal radar that can be fooled by chaff. I feel like an awkward reload is an acceptable trade-off for a missile that is immune to outside interference.
No redesign coming. The Bradley is being slowly replaced. These ones are pretty old. Late eighties maybe
