I did intermittent fasting while in the marines (0311) and it worked wonders. I would eat dinner and that’s it. Never looked this tired/fatigued ever. For those who might say I wasn’t training very hard, dropping from 205 to 170, back to 205 in 4.5 months takes some effort

I’m talking single digit/low double digit/contest ready bodyfat% while maintaining muscle. Once in a while for a contest, not so bad but still hard. But yeah, it would be tough to actually build muscle at or over 60 and harder as you age. I’m 56 and still building/maintaining muscle but it’s a bitch getting ripped. I’m responding from personal experience above the 50+ age you referenced. How about you?

You make look at peak level, body composition wise, but you feel like utter crap. And that’s why I’ll never compete ever again. I like lifting and working out regularly, like a regular human being, to feel good. Eat well, sleep well, everything will be alright.

What I have done all my life is exercise...something every day (pushups every day for 40 years) and eat mostly healthy, balanced diet. Genetics do help but consistency is important. I've done what he's doing. Intermittent fasting and fasting lets your body repair itself faster and more so you don't need to sleep much.

I couldn’t work out because before this time I had injured myself and needed surgery, which is why I gained weight in the first place: because I couldn’t lift.

I have 2 handicapped children and trying to keep the family going on my wage. I’d love to work out but seriously some people don’t have enough hours in the day. I’m strong AF but out of shape😢
@@lymskiUK nothing but respect for you sir ! Totally agree with u , but fitting 3 hours a week of a intense workouts is enough to give you some results. I do the "preshowers" using only pushups and dumbells for arms shoulders. Half an hour before ur shower 3 times a week will give u meat 💪

His physique can be achieved naturally by what he's doing. Low calorie, disciplined workouts. No steroids needed. Miserable though.
