    • Food for thought - I know he's American, but I know and have heard of many immigrants who earned advanced degrees in their native country, but work manual labor jobs here in America. The certifications don't transfer over, and the cost of recertifying is prohibitive. So, you never know.

As previous poster said it’s the government of both countries. i don’t see any difference between China and USA. China is communist and USA is a sham democracy. If we are so against Communism why did we even trade with China ever? At least China cares about their people. While in 30 years our poverty levels have gone up, Chinas has gotten so much better. If you are POC or ordinal inhabitant in US u r fucked. If u r Uighur or even Tibetan in China you are fucked. if you are a ordinary middle class person in US u r poorer and worse off than your parents, the same in China you are now richer and better off than your parents. Over all as a country China has done better than the USA and it is showing. We are living in historic times watching the rise of China and the downfall of the USA.

    • @Stan Alexander I might mis context because I’m an outsider, but: what a load of crap! So, your conclusion is: because Asian people are more intelligent & successful then the average, the left is jealous? Racism doesn’t show through taxes on success but in acts of violence and intolerance. Might I remind you Trump et all coined terms as China-Virus and KongFlu in right the face of Asian descent reporters? In the Trump rally’s the audience response was one of great delight when Trump played the Chinese Flue card. They seem all to willing to act on their instinct. Society as a whole might have a thing for neglecting Asian people: don’t think that is inherently left or right, but intentional racism seems predominantly a right wing phenomenon.

You may need to tell the cops mate, all they have right now is: "Alissa, whose family emigrated from Syria, may have been suffering from mental illness, according to his 34-year-old brother, Ali Aliwi Alissa. The brother told CNN on Tuesday that in high school bullies made fun of Alissa's name and for being Muslim and that may have contributed to him becoming "anti-social." Alissa was not very political or particularly religious" So your "democrats are to blame" BS, for which I assume you have evidence, is brand new information.

My parents taught me never to limit my life and miss out knowing some incredible people simply because they didn't look like my family. Almost every Saturday night family dinner required adding table leafs to accommodate the assortment of friends invited over. These were loud and fun dinners, usually followed up with some board game. These dinners often looked like a gathering of the United Nations with friends from all nationalities and backgrounds. I think what my parents did is the best start to crush racism which is based on fear and lack of knowledge. Just have people over for dinner and go from there. I have kept up this tradition in my adult life and am enriched by the diversity of my friends and their experiences.

    • @@arewealone9969 not just that, it's rooted in human history, and unfortunately it might even be rooted in the very base human instincts. Which is why it's so important to fight it and attempt to breed it out of the human mind.

  • I feel like Asian and Hispanic representation is always missed in Hollywood especially. I feel for Ken because he was probably type casted a lot. Hes the “funny asian side character” you never see him as a main or in a more serious role in a film. I feel like Asians and Latinos are always type casted and never represent enough.

    @assyrianprincess3@assyrianprincess33 жыл бұрын
    • The interesting thing about Latinos though is that Latinos can be of any race... People don't know actors like Cameron Diaz, Pedro Pascal, Bella Thorne, etc. are hispanic cause they don't look stereotypically latino. So because of that, it's not really that Latinos are being type casted, it's that Latinos are playing in many roles but people don't know that the actors and actresses are Latinos lol.
