More than a dozen tornadoes have touched down in three states - Texas, Oklahoma and Nebraska - as residents brace for more potential severe weather throughout the weekend.

Wow! those homes look as if they exploded. Might want to reconsider materiel when or if you plan to rebuild. A 2X4 is merely a javelin and no match for a tornado.

N jobs wise for them to get to put foods on the tables is the worse of the worse time for them . I can’t put in words the struggles were already bad before for all of us n now to be part of this disasters my heart goes out to them .

they are not timber framed they are stick framed. i agree that those houses are not strong enough for a 200mph wind. a concrete house would hold up but the roof would still be torn off if it was a basic truss and osb sheathing.
