Tomorrow is an outbreak threat for central and eastern Missouri. They claim today's tornadic weather that took place out west and southwest of here, and usually weakins before it gets to central and eastern Missouri, will still be as dangerous as it was today. So tomorrow will be eyes to the skies and stay hopeful that the system breaks down. Best of luck to everyone, fingers crossed. 🤞

    • You might find it interesting to know most large tornadoes of the past were considered to have much more violent wind speeds. Looking at the old Fujita scale, a F3 tornado had winds of 158 to 206mph. Any storm with damage caused by winds over 200mph today would get an EF5 rating.

      @jcamp788@jcamp78814 күн бұрын
    • @@jcamp788 yea I heard about that a while ago it’s crazy to think that this can show how powerful these f5’s were if their f-5 wind speed is 261 if I’m not mistaken. There could’ve been so many f5 tornadoes that could be a candidate for worlds most powerful wind speeds
