The amount of travelling that is allowed in the NBA today is ridiculous.
The refs must not know traveling and palming are against basket ball rules.
There was traveling during the Jordan era but it was rare and only 3 or 4 not max.

It isn't everyone in the NBA today but the quality has gone down significantly in many ways. Star players get special treatment by officials and coaches and the league, in general. They don't play all 82 games most of the time, they don't get called on travels when they should and they flop. MJ still the GOAT, especially considering the greats he played around the same time of!

If they actually called traveling more in the nba, scoring would be down so much, so this is why they let a lot of it go in my opinion.
Then change the rules to allow it. If they only care about high scoring games. Those calls show favoritism more often than not.

You know why is this happening. Its the nba its entertainment, they only call it when its very obvious. In Olympics refs are very strict on the rules because its an actual sports that is why lebron always called on travel his first Olympic game and its funny because he complaints what travel

Some of these are counting the steps before the gather. The steps don’t start counting after the last dribble they start getting counted after the gather. 5:32 is a good example of this he maybe took three steps but not seven
I think they should change the rule to 3 steps with each foot and it's a travel, so basically it's six steps.

I don’t watch the NBA anymore for reasons just like this. I seem to remember years ago , I think it was the start of the playoffs but maybe the start of the season the Referees started to call traveling & it was unwatchable because there was a continual stoppage of play for the numerous traveling or carrying the ball over violations.

Some of these start counting steps when they jump to catch the ball and are landing. There are some blatant travels but some count them establishing position as extra steps lol.
The fact that there are 3 refs on a game, shows that they shouldn’t be calling the game. One missing ? But not all three !!

So your step counter is way way off. While most are still obvious travels, multiple clips you count steps with legal pivot foot on ground and harden didn’t have ball in his hand for 1st 6 steps you counted.
Even more clips counting while they’re still dribbling, some clips of obvious tipped balls. So give ya about 50% on em
