My brother had to learn Russian for his physics degree. He went to Ukraine for a month long intensive language course to brush up after decades out of use. Ukraine has a rich and beautiful culture.

That exactly what I thought! High gas prices are due to having to pay for the gas we didn’t use when we were not driving.

Plus add the fact that so many workers have been fired for not taking the jab that work in the supply chain and you get a disaster. This is total BS….When we talk about green power & green energy it’s like the price goes up. No if it goes higher we just stay home like in 2007. In 2007 gas prices were near $5 a gallon. President Clinton did go into the national reserves in 1998 and our gas prices fell to.88 cents a gallon. The last thing the oil producers want is that.
Truth. They all bank on reckless spending by consumers, not frugality. They think everyone is a Black Friday shopper, think pulling strings and market manipulation will go unnoticed, and that just because Captain Freedom the Q guy is rollin' coal, that the rest of us, the MAJORITY, won't just drive less or think even harder about trading up for an EV. They forgot the lesson of 80's cars during the oil crisis.
They persued Amaud Arbery because he entered a house under construction. My father used to work in construction back in the 80's. I loved seeing how the construction progressed. We used to go tour the new houses and critique colors, design and quality. I never thought it was a crime. We were never made to feel like criminals just for touring a house. Years later because of vandalism they started to lock the hoses as soon as it was possible. Why didn't these guys put a lock on the house instead of hunting Amaud down. If I remember correctly, he went in there to get a drink of water. Something we did all the time. If there was a house under construction with running water and the house we working on didn't, we would go next door or few houses down to fill our water bottles and use the restroom since some new communities didn't have convenient stores nearby. So sad that if you're white you can do so many things amd nobody thinks nothing of it. But if your black, it's a big no no even as simple as getting a drink of water. Very sad state this country is in. You would think these things didn't happen anymore but they do. Amaud Aurbery did not even vandalize the property. He just entered it and got some water. I hope these guys get indicted like the evil monsters that they are.
You are correct. People are most always curious about construction projects. The want to see what's being built. Just like For Sale flyers attract people who aren't buying a house

@@JRoss-zxzx definitely. Especially people considering purchasing a particular house by a particular contractor or considering hiring a contractor to for a build or remodel. Turing open sites can give a clear idea of the contractors work, skill and help a potential customer know if they are worth hiring.

Being girls, we tried cigarettes, lipstick,looked at our older brothers Playboy's and giggled like crazy. To Of course we learned what would happen in our periods. Nobody ever came after us or said we were wrong cause the boys were doing the same thing!!
I'm old and have had all the vaccinations that have ever been available. No mumps, measles, polio, whooping cough, smallpox, flu, tetanus, all the hepatitis's, covid........for me. Having vaccines gives me a head start against all of these. Like having to run a 10k race with a 9.999 k head start. I may never have run the race but I'm pretty sure I can get to the finish line 10 meters away...

Here is an idea: Invest in public transport, make routes for cars longer and for bikes and public transport shorter. Make bike rides save. Make home office a recommendation or better make it a tax saving model. Decentralize.
Our community just built a grocery center. Across the road is a hotel, hospital and neighborhood. No walking or biking path was built for pedestrian to cross the 4 Lane road. Really poor planning!

@Dmon ! Been from CA to NY, wasn’t a closed gas station or line anywhere. The roads are packed! Of course if you’re town is experiencing shortages, guess that’s your experience and there may be shortages somewhere.
@@freshencounter it is not a shortage of open gas station but a shortage of supplies I.e. the oil to make the gas. OPEC is pulling less oil out of their rigs, so supply and demand takes affect they have less to offer and all those gas stations you are talking about will have to pay more to supply all those cars you see packing the roads. Think about the price of things when they are rare.

They have a reserve. This is just making up for what was lost due to the pandemic. This could cause even more damage due to senior stop driving so much due to rise in prices. That people attacking you with needles: My fatherinlaw said, that long ago in his mandatory service days, There was an anouncment about a mandatory shot. He was pretty afraid of needles and went and told the camp doctor, that he can write he got the shot, but he is not getting on.
