"I'll bet if you offered that much money, they would take the vaccine". True story. We offered a $200 incentive at my work to get it (and retroactively paid those of us who got it early). Our vaccinated rate more than doubled.
Our main city in my county (not my Village sadly) offered $100 to get vaccinated, in addition to the $100 the State was giving during a couple of weeks! Amazing how many people showed up! Not retroactive, which I fear would make people drag their feet in the future, holding out for financial incentive... Shame people just didn't get it to... IDK... Protect themselves and the community around them!!!
It's a lot cheaper than $6 million hospital bills.

I would agree with Texas if they hadn't passed laws nearly outlawing abortions. Govt can't tell you what to do with your body. Unless we decide you shouldn't be able to do it. Pick a side Texas. Either the the human body is left to the person, or it's left to the govt. Hypocrisy is unacceptable.

I've heard arguments about time that it took for the vaccines to be created but its thanks to those previous successes and modern medical science that allowed us to develop it this quickly. I couldn't imagine having to wait decades to get rid of this

I never know if he's serious about the flat earth thing or if it's a hoax/performance art like Uncle Drew. He seems like such a bright guy ... and then -- flat earth; I experience high levels of cognitive dissonance when faced with Kyrie Irving's views. Also, in his defense, he has said he thinks the vaccine is solid; just disagrees on principle with the mandates.

We need the booster because of the mutations in the Delta variant. Just like we need a new flu shot every year because of the mutations in the flu virus from last year’s strain. Why do people literally look at everything as if it’s suspect or some great conspiracy when we’ve actually been doing it for FOREVER?! FFS.
The vaccine admittedly does nothing to stop infection or stop the spread. The only alleged benefit is that it "lessens the symptoms" if you catch it. Except even before the vax most people only had mild symptoms or were asymptomatic anyway so there is zero actual benefit nor any risk from unvaccinated people. There is however a tremendous risk, already over 14,500 dead and over 675,000 reports of negative reactions. Do you really believe 675,000 people all conspired to make fake vaccine reports? That would be some conspiracy theory! As far as those scary COVID numbers? Hospital administrators were CAUGHT ON CAMERA scheming to fabricate Covid numbers and SCARE the public. How can you trust the same people who FUNDED the creation of the virus at the Wuhan lab to begin with? WAKE UP! Nike if I’m correct gave there upper echelon a week off not the regular 8-4, 9-5, worker a week off. Just had to say that. The ones that really needed the week “paid off” got none of those benefits.
The retail stores are franchises so employees are not technically Nike employees. I assume neither are the factory workers in foreign countries. But I agree that the people who need a week paid off are the ones least likely to get those benefits.

I have seen tires set up over fence posts in the countryside of Colorado and New Mexico. Usually in relation to some signage nearby. I have no idea why landowners do this on their fencing. But, this could explain how the tire got on the elks neck. They rub their antlers on fenceposts when they get itchy. It could happen.
