I must admit it is an amazing camper. Everything you need.🙏
It’s a great rig for sure 👍 cheers mate
Beautiful caravan and I love the way you explain everything about the caravan
Thank you very much!
Looks like some military swat vehicle. Like a HumVee for RV's!
Great looking van, we have a 2022 build 20’9 trooper and we couldn’t be happier with it , definitely take advantage of the the sail track on the side and grab a shade screen for it , the difference it makes the temperature inside the van if your not in a nice shady spot is unbelievable, can’t wait to see the van get put through its paces on your trips , happy and safe travels with the new van.
Cheers mate appreciate it and take care 👍👍
Absolutely love this van guy's!! Can not wait to see you out and about using it!! Cheers guy's hope your well!

Thanks 👍
Absolutely awesome!! Lots of adventures to be had!! Love, love, love this van!! Good onya’s!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Love how you can access alot from the outside of the caravan, gives me ideas for my toy haulier build im designing.
Have fun! Toy haulers are a great idea
That is a great camper especially for an off-road version! Blessings and Peace ✝️❤️
Cheers
Absolutely Stunning van LOTUS produce. Enjoy Team.
We will! Cheers bud
Wow, what a great van. You guys look so relaxed. 7 years of living on the road but now have a home base, community, school but still get to travel. Enjoy this new season, it looks good on you both.👍❤️
Sounds great!thankyou
That's a great mobile home, it doesn't need anything else, I enjoyed your show and thank you both for the introduction
Thanks for watching!
Love your new van congratulations
Awesome new Van and great to see you guys again.
Thanks 👍
America has grizzly bears, tornadoes and mountians everywhere and our campers are framed with tiny 1×2 pine boards and still costs the same as a 2 bedroom house. A lot of camp sites have a ban on campers because they can't handle the drive up or down the mountain.
Great to have you back, HNY
Cheers mate
FANTASTIC... Enjoy your new Lotus.
Thanks, will do!
good to see you guys, cannot wait to see what you get up to!!
Cheers mate
I saw one comment about the wing on the van being there for aero reasons. That may be a benefit to keep rain and dirt off the camera and tear of the van, but I’m not sure about that. Another manufacturer has the same wing on their van to increase the roof area for what ever additions you want on the roof like extra solar. Bloody nice van.
Yeah not sure why they didn't go a Titanium, Lotus have a real bad reputation now with after sales service and build quality, none the less still a good looking van.
💅🏻 Mac Loving The New Van 👍🏻👍🏻
Didn't have to wait long for Bec to move the couch cushion back 😄Enjoy the WA winter travels
Awesome van guys - very envious😊 We had an instant HWS installed on our van and we went with a ‘Showermiser’ which works a treat and saves buckets of water. They only come in chrome but had it sand blasted and powder coated black to match the other plumbing. Keep an eye on the Aussies Traveller door. I’m continually adjusting it to get it to close and lock properly. It has also started to delaminate thru corrosion below the vent. - I’m looking at a warranty claim for this issue. I really like to security and midge proof screen though. We also installed the Redarc system and really like it - keen to see what the new upgrades are in your future vids. Happy vanning and Safe travels
Thanks mate appreciate it. I’ll keep an eye on that door and I’ll update ya’s in the valve for the hws when I install it 👍
Van looks great guys bet your looking forward to trying it out.
Awesome van guys very technically advanced love it. Can’t wait for more episodes and I really like those front tiav storage bags 🤙
Cheers mate appreciate it
Where do you buy the storage bags you have on the stone deflector?
this is the thing every man should have you need to live in the wild from time to time i used to camp when i was kid with my cousins for months without tv in the 90s close from the sea we fish and have fun riding motor bikes for days ( Months )🤣 i am from Saudi by the way
Nice to see Bec didnt knock herself out on this van.. yet 😂 Looks bloody awesome, looking forward to seeing where you take it!
😂😂that was funny
🤣🤣😂🤣
be good to see you guys back on the road.
Great van guy's. Enjoy you deserve it 🎉
Thanks so much!
Not much missing in this set-up. Very nice
Looks superb!👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Exellent, guys!
Van looks great guys, can’t wait to see where it takes you this year!
Cheers mate, catch up with you mob hey?
@@TripInAVan keen as 👌 Fine tuning some dates for that boys trip we spoke about, will shoot you some dates soon 👍🏼 🍻
@@WildTouring oath🤙
Awesome van. Sincere congratulations. Happy travels.
Thanks, you too!
We use Inox PTFE Food Grade Grease 30 g from Repco on the slide arms and gasket where it slides to close. Does not affect the seals. We have found 42 degrees setting on the hot water means you don't have to fiddle with cold water getting the temp right especially for a shower. Nice van well done.
Thankyou for the tips👍👍
Great video as always my wife and i just bought our first van to try travelling in September nothing like this van just a 2014 franklin arrow 19.6 im happy with it perfect for 2 where living in it at home to work out what we need for full off grid before we go cant wait👌
Sounds great! Fit it out for what you need and how you travel. Great way to save money
@@TripInAVan that's the plan we are selling up and going permanently where from Brisbane and been watching you guys for years hopefully catch up for a beer one day. Cheers
wow that's a impressive caravan thankyou for a awesome video on everything
Glad you enjoyed it
Bloody marvellous vid. Thanks legends
Thanks bud👍
Thx heaps guys, top vid! Phil
Cheers
Guys you must be absolutely happy with your new van, especially the battery system I know Justin will be happy with that, I can’t wait to see your adventures coming up this year?😊
Cheers mate, stoked. The power systems coming out these days are incredible
What a rig 😍 You both should be proud of yourselves for building this life for your family. Proof that you can change the trajectory of your life at any point! 🙌
Thanks so much. We are very grateful for sure. Glad we get to do something we love
The faucet looks to be Brushed Brass. Awesome rig! Thanks for the tour!
Thanks for watching!
Nice looking van, love your colour scheme.
Thank you kindly
Wow very nice van guys.. it has a few nice updated features that aren’t on my 2021 Trooper ie the awesome door and the starlink setup and induction cooktop, we love our Lotus Trooper and look forward to seeing your travels on YT.. cheers
Thanks mate safe travels
Nice van you guys. Never thought I would see you guys at a van without a front windows.
That's one dam good looking van! Happy travels. 😅
Thanks! 👍
Great upgrade guys. Looking forward to your 2024 vids. Just a suggestion, would need to put a stone guard over compressor air tank underneath van for extra protection (looks vulnerable) Cheers Rick.
Great suggestion, I have thought this in the past as well but they seem to stay out of the rocks. 👍
Looks smaller than previous van, as long as you are happy with it is the main thing.
Ive got my eye on one of these, id like to see a trip in this down the Birdsville or Oodnadatta tracks or up through the flinders or gammon ranges, i wonder how protected all that fancy gear really is on the underside, still looks like the rocks would get to a lot of this
Defo on the shopping list when I win the lotto
Great looking van, with some big changes, looking forward to see. 1. New redarc gear review. Manager30 is a bit lacking. 2. Water filtration system. 3. Awesome adventures. Thanks Tiav
1. Redarc is a 100amp manager so definitely not under gunned 👌 2. Under sink filtration and I have a setup for filling tanks I’ll show you in another vid.
@@TripInAVan yeah wicked can't wait!
Amazing Caravan ,what is the tare and payload of this van and what mods did you need on the LC300 to tow such a large van?
Orrays quiero una 😂🎉
It’s beautiful we are hoping to get an off grid 🤞
Very nice…. my ATX has been shot blasted by all the dirt tracks…. just an observation…. some stone protection for the auto leveling system might be needed. That van is beautiful, well done TIAV.
Good idea thanks man
I love it❤
I could pick this apart, as to what and how to improve on a pretty good unit. One thing I would do is have a tent with a toilet sink and shower outside. No Bathroom inside and the tent simply pulls out of the rear door frame and assembles itself. Big decent looking with a tin roof and part hard fold out maybe. At level with trailer floor or descends to ground level. I'm half claustrophobic, half cluts, and cant spell either. I got some other cool ideas and a little goes a long way if you like.
Great van guys, have fun
Cheers
Real nice yall bluesprings mo here
Hot tip , see if you can pair a 2nd wireless reverse camera to your system and mount it inside the van so you can see real time while traveling if anything comes loose inside the van.
That’s a cool idea
You should cover the propane flexible pipes and that manifold. especially when going off road. I would be scared of rocks and pebbles hitting them and causing a leak and then the next rock or pebble hitting steel and creating a spark and BOOM ! I would still cover them if the were below the guard but since they are above the guard, there is a greater chance of being hit by rocks or debris and if you're lucky, you'll loose all your propane, if you're not lucky, you might lose your life and those of your family. Other than that, great video and great trailer or as you and the Britts call them, caravans
Good day to you. Though not as fancy, in the U.S. there is off rod trailer made by Black Series.
🌺 It’s absolutely beautiful, looking forward to see where you go with it, enjoy yourselves 🌺
Thank you! 🤗
Great to see you guys back. I like a few others were getting a bit worried especially when hubby went off on his fishing trip I’m thinking where is Bec and the kids. Great looking van but a little out of my price range.
Thanks 👍
Just a tiny bit of advice with the triple lock on the front door door. Just be careful to make sure you always lock it. I drove with mine didn’t lock it properly and the external door came open while I was going down the freeway at 100 km and put a real nice dent and bent the door a little bit in the side of the van lesson learned😅
Great tip Thankyou
Shes a beast ☑️
Thanks for all the info and walk around, very helpful. Quick question, would love to know how you are liking the white cupboards? (easy to keep clean, and gloss or matt?)
Cool set up
Cheers mate
It would be cool to have a gray water recycling system maybe three or four stage filtration so you Boondock longer
Love the timber look benches & table. I hate the all black everything offset by stark white gloss splashbacks & walls that seems to be the rage these days. It's so harsh & depressing. The tech in your new van is impressive and well thought out. Now it needs to be used guys!
Cheers mate. Lots of options these days
Wow!
i do like this kinda stuff ..... cool
Awesome..i want 1❤
j'adore le chic discret de notre hôtesse, parée pour l'aventure ! (l'avventura !!) 🔵⚪🔴
In the valued in our moment pick me up in the statement in value of the moment in field to pick ⚒️⛏️😊
Looks awesome! I however would worry about all the externally mounted gear and accessible connectors/outlets (theft, vandalism). But then again, I travel in Europe 😅 I envy you👍
Yeah I get your thinking.. but if someone wants to steal my dirty water hose they can have it 😂
Just fyi. It’s a tankless water heater. Not instant. I have had 3 of them and used to sell them as well. Yes it will take a bit for the water to get warm, but once it does you could actually run it until your water or fuel supply runs out.
Very Nice Video, Thanks For Sharing
Thanks for visiting
The new lotus looks great, congrats guys! Keen to see the red water diverter install as we have the instant hot water too, and you do lose valuable water when off grid waiting for that hot water to come through. Also keen to see this redarc gear in all its glory when you can disclose more info. Are you still partnered with Enerdrive now that you’re running the red arc in the van? Still using enerdrive in the tow rigs though yeah? Cheers
Redarc in all gear now 👍👍 keen to show you more
Yeah nice! Both great products. You can’t go wrong. Keep the videos coming guys and safe travels 🤙🏼
Hey guys, welcome back. Have you found the straps on the stone guard storage bags get damaged from rocks much?
Nah they have been fine hey👍👍
Awesome!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice looking, I was wondering what material is used for the main floor facing the road. In the US we have rain year round from east to west coast etc. Anything other than fiberglass is doomed to rot in short order. For half a century and longer all the large motor homes had plywood floors that had a car undercoating which is not really a good thing if if has any gaps that actually traps water and moisture. Eventually most did crack and not protect the flooring.
Great run through 😊,. Thanks. Your bathroom looks a tad smaller than the other. Question,... What about 12 volt plugs for cpap machines next to the bed? Could that be an option? (new to cpap travelling)
Great suggestion! They could definitely do it for sure., there is 12v power there for chargers so I’m sure it can be done
Love your van, we are building a 2024 Trooper and went with tank fill for the water but love the idea of filling from mains. How will you manage to fill you tanks if you are off grid and need more water? Im still thinking of changing to mains fill but worried if we need more water. Cheer and keep the videos coming!
I have a pump setup to fill from tanks etc 👍👍
If I was 25 years younger. I live it all year around.
Love your new van. Quick question where do you store a vacuum or broom if you carry one? Happy travels 🎉
Good question!vacuum sits in floor under table. Broome goes on a clip in the ensuite
Great product!! Please, make it 4 -season fortified, and available in the states.
Make it for northern Canada . Don’t go half way!
Just a couple of comments 1. I assume your 200 and 300 are limited to 3.5T (GCM also allowing), so you'll keep this van down well below payload. 2. Can't believe you've never had a reverse camera. They are more essential when you live somewhere like Sydney. What I think you will like is that when travelling on multi-lane roads (or overtaking), you can now see if you have a decent gap in the vehicle you are changing lanes in front of. You can also get some idea of how much the van moves around. Much better visibility of approaching traffic than the side mirrors too. It's good that you're testing the market. Thanks TIAV. Nice to see Bec presenting again too!
Cheers mate. So the 200 has a 4.5 tonne towing capacity so we can load her right up on big trips. Looking forward to testing a camera on the van. Always keen to try new things
@@TripInAVan wow. Is that a bonus of the chop that you can completely re engineer it? As far as I know there is no way to change the GVM or tow capacity of my non chopped 200. All I have been able to do is increase the GVM to just over 4T.
@@NickSaravanos yeah so the conversion gets you 4495gvm and 4500towung
Hello to Bec nice to see you in 2024 & guys nice rig. Do you still have the property as well as a house or both. Anyway can't wait for the new adventures. Cheers 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Yes we do, we rent our shed house out 👍
@@TripInAVan oh ok great income hopefully you've got nice people in there to look after it.👍👍👍
It has a look of the series 2 forward control Landrover, only it's a good bit longer and taller. Though it looks good and a lot better than the landie.
Just one more lap aye 😃
Maybe 2
We get our 23'6 Trooper in June! Very similar colours
How good, exciting times
Love it! What brand or unit is the instant hot water?
Looking forward to the new Redarc gear. Is there reasons why the 2 big single windows either side of the bed over the split style windows? Preference or just not an option? Glad to see you all back.
Cheers mate, yeah so we didn’t really customise this van as we aren’t living in it. We went with a standard floor plan from lotus and just changed the a few small things👍
@TripInAVan Ah, good point. Never thought about that aspect of not being full time travelling anymore. Thanks 👍can't wait for the new adventures.
Great episode and a nice van. The black n white box on the front of the roof, is that like a carafan? Looking forward to the next episode
It is mate yeah. It’s a Dometic dust reduction system. Bit different to the carafan but aims to do the same job
@@TripInAVan nice, friends have just bought a JAWA to do a lap in, towed by a tray back Prado
Hi guys talking blinds do you prefer the Venetian Blinds or the straight blinds. Trying to keep the midges out and not sure which once’s are better. Thanks for the videos keep up the awesome work.
Straight ones are better for midgies, but the crinkle cut ones are easier to use
Sweet. Not critiquing it, but I'm wondering why the air tank doesn't have a box or bash plate. It would suck if it or any of the lines were punctured by gravel or some road debris/shrapnel. I think my favorite is the hitch set up.
I think it would be a good idea to add some protection for sure
I was thinking the same; couldn't think of the proper name, but bash plate is it. I was looking more at the exposed plastic(?) tubing connected to the tank. It seems it wouldn't take much to break or snag (really rough terrain!) the tubing. Maybe braided steel piping?
