I am 75 years old and just lost my husband to a heart attack this past August. I have had mostly Shetland sheep dogs my whole life, but recently adopted a Husky. He is 15 months old. His previous owner worked 12 hours a day and never came home right after work. He was in a kennel 12 to 14 hours a day. Never hardly got to go outside. Wasn't feeding him anything but Purina dog food. He was underweight. I have had him about a month. He is a sweet dog. He is starting to look healthy and has a big back yard to play in. He keeps me smiling with his personality. Love your videos .

Whiskey may be the prettiest Malinois I’ve seen. I’ve never seen one in person, just online, but Whiskey is the best looking and certainly one of the smartest.

Something like that -with more padding -would be great for hot pavement to keep dogs from burning their pads. Otherwise, I guess it would depend on the dog and his tolerance for them. 🤷♀️
Tiger toes makes an outdoor version for this purpose. Haven’t tried them - but worth a try!
I like your videos and your dogs are awesome but what's the purpose of those dog socks?! It's like nature it's wrong and you " correct it" with those socks. Anyway, wish you all the best!
Trying to keep him from sliding around so much. Get a ton of comments that he’s going to hurt himself. Just thought I would try it out.
They are good for dogs who struggle to get up / walk on slick surfaces like hardwood floors. Great for seniors or special needs dogs to help them be more comfortably mobile.

@neucounty sure.. and it's no dig on you, your channel or the pups. To me it's kinda like putting a front end bra on a Ferrari. Unnecessary and looks ridiculous. Also, it kind of seems disrespectful to the folks who tirelessly bred these dogs close to perfection. I'm quite sure they would have some French expletives flying lol. Just my opionen.. and yes my GSD slips on the floor still socks aren't happening.
@@neucounty May I recommend you keep a second pair on hand? It's amazing how much dogs sweat through their paw pads. So you'll probably need to wash the booties out daily and air-dry them to keep them soft and comfy. Without frequent washing they'll get hard and crusty and uncomfortable.
