  • The scenario you described sounds like a simplified version of a perpetual motion machine, which violates the laws of thermodynamics. Perpetual motion machines, machines that can operate indefinitely without an external energy source, are not possible due to the conservation of energy. Without more details, it's challenging to provide a precise explanation for the specific setup you mentioned. However, in most cases, perpetual motion claims turn out to be based on misunderstandings, misinterpretations, or sometimes deceptive practices. It's important to approach such claims with skepticism and consider the fundamental principles of physics. The laws of thermodynamics, particularly the first and second laws, dictate that energy cannot be created or destroyed, and any machine attempting to operate perpetually without an external energy source would violate these principles

Since our Sun doesn't fulfil the required mass and size to become a blackhole, it'd become a white dwarf at the end..... during the process of expansion the Sun will swallow all the rocky planets upto Mars(not 100% sure if Mars would survive). So that's the rough idea you need to get. After the explosion of our star The huge planets might change the path and part from the solar system... And there's no way another star from another solar sytem can attract an abandoned planet of our solar system. The nearest known solar system(proxima centauri)itself is roughly 4.2 lightyear away from us so there's no way a star can attract a planet that is 4 lightyears away. Guess you've understood And the Harvesting the sun means building a huge ringlike structure around the sun, upto now only 1% of solar energy is being used by humans.
