  • A voltage is produced when a magnetism moves into a coil of wire. Moving a magnet around a coil of wire, or moving a coil of wire around a magnet, pushes the electrons in the wire and creates an electrical current. This process is called electromagnetic induction.

  • I wonder how it is not short circuited when the circuit is complete due to the coils & nails touch the conductive magnet? My only guess is that there are batteries inside the motor and switched on by connecting the wires via the nails.

  • "Energy can neither be created nor destroyed but it can be transformed from one form to the other" And if you have studied Faraday's law(Rate of change of flux w.r.t time is directly proportional to the E.M.F produced) we need to provide a change in flux, in your model mechanically, which means we are converting mechanical energy into electric energy.And We say you, you were moving the coil after some intervals which was providing a change in magnetic flux. So if you just keep the coil within the magnets, motor would stop eventually after some time. Stop fooling others.
