  • Another mega slab day in the books! Possibly the pinnacle of Slab Tour 2023? Its not over yet to be determined! Still sore from the violence of that first big wipeout what a day with good people and incredible waves! Love to ireland! Thanks for watching friends! Hyped be in one piece! Nothing quite like a giant heaving wave like Mullagmore in the cold and dark truly incredible!

Being in a hard earned state of shock, adrenaline overload mixed with the holy fucking shit scare-of that wipeout and the stoke to have survived it, was conveyed clearly bro! I know yall are trained and used to wipeouts, but Im guessing waves like this, Jaws, Mavs...can put a person through an experience that cant really be explained to others with words. • Fun fact on the safety crew. Uk and Ireland has huge lifesaving charity called the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) it's the uk's second biggest charity and therefore supplies world class training to its lifeguards and lifeboat crews. Some of the early pioneers of tow surfing in europe (Cotty, Peter conroy etc) worked for the RNLI as lifeguards and mixed that expertise with other traditional big wave water safety methods to make a world class tow team.
