Jonathan Hammond is a Maui-based teacher, energy healer, shamanic practitioner, and spiritual
counselor. Before beginning his work in holistic health and spirituality, he had a career as an award-winning actor, appearing on Broadway and on television.
A graduate of Harvard University and the University of Michigan, Jonathan is a Certified Master Teacher in Shamanic Reiki, Usui, and Karuna Reiki and the advanced graduate studies advisor for Shamanic Reiki Worldwide. He teaches Shamanism, energy healing, spirituality, and Huna classes at the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies and around the world.
Jonathan has training and certifications in Cherokee Bodywork, Huna, and Ho‘oponopono, and is an ordained Alakai (leader or guide) through Aloha International. He has completed the core curriculum studies at the Foundation for Shamanic Studies and has been initiated through the Minoan Fellowship in Wicca.
In addition to his background in energy medicine, Jonathan completed four years of training at One Spirit Learning Alliance (OSLA) in New York City and was ordained as an interfaith minister in 2008. He is currently a faculty member at OSLA, where he teaches Shamanism and interspiritual counseling, and he is the founding leader of OSLA’s monthly shamanic circle. Jonathan has also studied Shamanism, energy healing, and meditation privately with prominent teachers in North and South America and has worked alongside shamans in Mexico, Brazil, Bali, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Hawaii.
Jonathan now spends his life deeply committed to empowering and healing people by bringing indigenous Earth wisdom to the modern world and leads international spiritual retreats through his company, The Living Project.

As someone who always rejected religious dogma (repelled by it), discovering shamanism is what got me into spiritualism. It spoke to me on so many levels. I've always been empathic, wanting to help others, and encouraging people to be true to themselves. I still have so much to learn, and while having setbacks over the years, it's so encouraging to see videos like this. Like the universe is reminding me of my path/purpose. Thanks you both Alex and Jonathan for this. And all the other amazing people on these podcasts.
Cool I meet him in airport in Soule Korea, going back to Hawaii. Wild experience felt like I was in vortex, only person in airport that spoke English. He basic told me his life story in 5 minutes..
When I visited Hawaii I fell in love with Kauai. I think (my) Heaven will be like it.

Alex, YOU (of ALL people) should have no fear - ZERO!! You carry yourself very well through this world and you add value to everyone who cleans the wax out of their ears and listens. Talk about your “hundred monkey” effect, there’s no way to gauge the global mutations your work has brought into existence. You have married the “ripple effect “ with the “monkey effect.” I would suggest that you alone have created zero degrees of separation between many of us and entities on the farthest corner of the most distant planet. You just need to plant your flag and fear not.
I could listen to this guy talk all day.

I am very drawn there...I do believe I spent past lives in the area of Hawaii...I lived there for 6 years and after 13 years on the mainland, I long everyday to go back...that's where I belong.
I grew up on Sanibel so I know that feeling,somewhat.I hope you get to go back.
I used to have slight memories of being there and I haven't been in this lifetime.

Wonderful to hear the Huna principles on your Show! I trained in Kahuna bodywork, also known as Lomi Lomi and the Huna philosophy was embedded in the training. I also completed an in depth Ho’oponopono training. I love the way of Huna and the Hawaiians. All heart centred ❤

Aloha Alex, from Makawao, Maui nō ka 'oi! Everything Joe speaks of about Magical Mama Maui is true! Haleakalā is one of 2 Earth's Chakra points in the U.S. (Mt. Shasta is the other) and the energies of the axis diverge at Gate 11 on Haleakalā. The summit (Wao Akua) is the quietest place on earth & the cleanest air you'll ever breathe. Taller than Mt. Everest at its core below sea level, and conjoined with Big Island's Mauna Kea, is the tallest mountain below sea level in the World. The energy from our planet Earth literally stems from this center point/hot spot in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. It's no wonder why the Humpback Whales instinctively know to come here to birth their calves and breed every year and not care that there's not enough food in our kai for them. It's truly heaven/paradise on Earth and I'm so incredibly grateful to live here and spread true aloha to all our guests. I’m sure I had learned about the 100 Monkey Effect from this channel, when Alex discussed it with another guest. So I was surprised when Alex sounded like this was the first time he had heard about it! Maybe this is an example of the Mandela Effect😂😂😂

We did go to levels higher and surprisingly we went further than believed is possible. We passed the point of no return on the good side this time. We will never go back. We are home.
