I can't, and I mean I can't, tell you how much these songs mean to me, *especially* The War. I remember listening to this album back in 8th grade when I was at my absolute lowest, never moving and never trying. When I tell you this song latched on to me from the very beginning, I mean it. SYML was so much to me when I was 14. It's a miracle I'm alive.
I've never heard music of this kind before. It's doing something with my soul, like no music before. Thank you SYML.

The lyrics in Wildfire make me feel like there is hope for my desolate situation. There are definitely moments when I feel like I am not enough because of the abuse I have endured, but the broken parts of me are still me. They make me venerable and raw. It is beautiful when we get to a place of accepting the broken pieces of ourselves enough to share them with others.
