Open lesson with all students of my Vocal master. I sing this song. The power of words and memories beat me in my heart. But now I’m stronger than 4 years later. I finished this song. I am a survivor of many abusive relationships and this song acurately and poetically expresses the hell I have been through. But somehow, heaven as well. With the amazing choir, the powerful back up vocals, the dancing man rising in the end. The lyrics, melody, voice and video are in perfect harmony and they convey the power in all of us, to overcome and transcend our battles and maybe turn them into masterpieces like this one. A very small place, with student desks, old time, one piece,..serving cheese and crackers,.I have ,must share this..Piano player was something out of magazine, toll thin with a sigaret in his lips and the ash as long as the sig, my husband got up walked up to him took the sig shook of the ash and put it back in his lips,...epic...my tears rolling on my cheeks, remembering..Michael , my first only love, and best friend, my link to the world past in 88,..living behind our 3 boys to be raised by me..grown now with children of their own...did, not bad, never went to jail, and making a good living, law abiding citizens. . I thank God I experienced true love, and learned how to appreciate music ,universal language.. Is the little things,.. have not been in another relationship..I had the best ...

I saw Jonathan last night at the Capitole in Quebec City, my first concert since COVID started and I picked a great one. The night started off with an opening act from a young man named John. This was his first time singing before a live audience but definitely won’t be his last. He has an amazing voice and he is a great storyteller. Then on to Jonathan and his family (as he calls his group), they sang a variety of his songs for 90 minutes. We the audience were amazed and happy, the walls of the Capitole shook last night with love and appreciation for the show we were given by such a talented group of musicians. They portrayed a tight knit group of people that had lots of love and respect for each other and I can’t forget they had fun up there singing for us. One of my best shows ever. Thank you all.
