Just more tedious, forgettable monologues ("Morph wouldn’t say non-binary themself, given not available at the time"). I love this! All the people that complain that they made the X-men into a soap opera obviously didn’t read the comics in the 80’s and 90’s.

Chris Claremont probably got a chuckle out of that; they really went for the whole "soap opera" thing.
He should because not only did he push the social commentary of this team more than any writer, but also added the soap opera elements that kept these characters popular for decades.
Chris Claremont made the statement years ago, that "What if" Jim Shooter had chosen Byrne over him for the X-Men (when Byrne and Claremont couldn't work together anymore due to creative differences). That Rogue and Mystique would have been Avengers characters and not X-Men characters. To me, that indicated that Claremont possibly thought the Avengers movies were much better than the X-Men movies. I wonder what he thinks about the cartoons? Particularly, the 92 series adaptation of the Dark Phoenix saga?
This show is like the action pack version of days of our lives tbh. 🤣

@@Skybound808 That was until Revanche (Kwannon in Betsy’s body) contracted the legacy virus, making her realise that she wasn’t Betsy. Before she left to confront her ex fiancée, Matsuo who was the one responsible for the “get out” situation when he got Spiral to help out, Kwannon plucked the eyes out and left them for Betsy. And Mojo and Spiral were ticked off.

I think perhap Jean is better off with Wolverine while Scott with Madelyne because since the incident back in episode three as Scott and Jean were struggling plus from what I learn on the X-Men '97 Series information Wolverine still have feelings for Jean.
